When he’s on the phone with his wife you can really see just raw emotions. Story’s like this make me feel good. Some ceos just do the bare minimum, some go all out. Massive respect to this one.
I've watched so many episodes and this is runner up CEO for me. #1 goes to the CEO of Mo's sporting goods (I think it's called). Such a genuine and generous man the episode would make anyone cry lol. This CEO is super generous though. Spent the whole minimum on one employee. 💯💕
@@swayzy762 BEST COMMENT EVER!! Agreed! Sad note: Moe's sporting goods filed for bankruptcy a year or two back. That was a gut punch, knowing how generous their CEO was/is
Years ago, I worked with a woman at the Cottonwood Arizona Home Depot. She worked there as a second job, her first being a teacher in town as well. One day she quit without much warning but wouldn't give a reason for her quitting. After this episode aired, she came back in the store and explained why she quit. The employee the CEO was working with was her husband! Truly good people!
Yeah, bunch of the other ones were like 10 or 20k for a thing or two. Which is still pretty great to be fair, that's a good chunk of money that can go a long way when put to the right things. But this guy handed him nearly a quarter million. Actual life changing money. Sure it isn't win the lottery and retire wealthy kind of money. But that changed the entire outlook of that household in an instant. Probably had their comfiest sleeps they had in years that following week with that much weight lifted off their shoulders.
I highly respect Mr. Cloobeck for all he did this episode. He took his employee’s feedback to heart, and made improvements in their best interests to make doing their jobs much easier and quicker. And helps them out financially. Massive respect.
When he called his wife and told her she doesn't have to work 2 jobs anymore damn that pulled at my heart strings. Now you can breathe sir. God bless you.
Yeah it did me in too. Its just so emotional to see two people who are humble in their work, just doing an honest days work to get by. And the scene is just so powerful.
That is so wild to see Randy in this video. It just popped up in my feed. I worked for him at that RV repair place in Flagstaff when I was in Highschool back in 93 and 94. He is a good guy and what you see here is exactly how he was back then. Helpful, encouraging and forgiving of honest mistakes. Happy for him and his wife.
The Masonic ring on his finger speaks volumes about his good personality and morality. I had to pause the video to catch that. A brother in the truest sense hard-working with strong values.
This CEO gets it. I have never seen a U-Haul behind a Hearst......You cannot take anything with you when you die, so while your here do something to help others and you feel the gratitude and happiness you bring to others. This was the the best episode I have seen so far. Just think about the quality time he can spend with his family and the quality, plus the effort the guy will have toward working for this company.
Look at the video from the nascar guy. I think he buys a woman a house for her and her kids or something. I believe at the time he was a high ranking position but is now president of nascar or something along those lines?
I think the media for decades have set the narrative that successful capitalist are heartless that's why this show was so successful. When a person hates their job it's easier to assume the CEO is a jeark. There are heartless selfish people in all walks of life and caring people. And there would I say are the most people who are kind and care to point that it does not cost them much. Will all help someone out of our excess and fell good about it. But I do question did this ceo pay for it or did the network pay for and made him look good???
Damn. That hit me hard. We were struggling big time when I was young because our business went under. Dad then working double shifts and my mum had 3 jobs to pay it off. They did everything they could for every last penny they could earn. Yet I sit at my desk in an office and watch the clock waiting for it to hit 5pm. I don't think I'd have it in me to be as strong as they were to make sure me and my sister had a roof over our heads, food on the table and our education paid for.
Thats the kinda owner I wanna work with not just because of what he did for his worker. But you can just tell that he really enjoyed working with that guy and was just so down to earth.
How cum one deez mufckas can't help someone out like me? I been fckn strugglin with payin bills and then after all it i hardly have enough left to buy my cocaine. I just need to get high. Wood do it all day every day if I could
I love it when someone who's a hard-working person and down on their luck gets a helping hand in an unexpected way. This made me feel so good and the pay it forward scenario was a great way to show appreciation for your employee. Loved it!
I hate it... it's an indictment on our current human condition that the average human being must rely on some fantastical 1 in a 1,000,000,000 charity scenario in order to feel like they have any value, or can live comfortably for a small moment without a sense of want, while a tiny handful of others have enough for 1,000 generations to survive on. What a shameful disgrace!
@@RraMakutsi Fun way of looking at it..... I d say its in t]he middle. Yeah we shouldn't be reliant on free money to feel valued but I don't think that's what happening here. Clearly just a happy employee receiving the break they need. BESIDES, at the odds of 1 in 1,000,000,000, I think you can just put the argument to rest there; I don't think any of us are out here actively choosing to have lottery odds be our only factor in determining self-worth.
My favorite CEO out of all of the undercover boss Bosses. Mr Cloobeck is an angel in disguise. I love this guy. He has a heart of a thousand good people in one. I wish I could save my parents home like Steve is saving this gentleman's home. They're going in foreclosure over about 175,000$ in mortgages. Just seeing someone in so much joy makes me feel happy .God bless you all, I hope your hearts keep hope alive , life can always turn for the best when you least expect it
I thought the CEO was a jerk as I progressly watched the episode. In the end, I discovered the only reason he is harsh is because he cares about his brand. And if his brand is not living up to their mission or standards, then the business fails. But I grew to love him in the end for his generosity and being kind hearted.
You know it's real emotion when a man like that can't even make eye contact anymore. I'm sure he hasn't felt that release of pressure in YEARS. Good for him and kudos to the CEO
What a guy. Much respect for this hard working man refusing to stay down after such a set back and doing what needs to be done. Respect to his wife as well. Great to see that there are still good people in this world.
This is what the American spirit is. A man willing to get back on his feet when he got knocked down, and someone more fortunate than him willing to help out from his own good will
That’s a real wife right there too “Till death do us part”, “for richer and for poorer” She stuck with that man through the toughest of times instead of running off to a new man who makes more money and was rewarded for it Now she gets to enjoy some sort of retirement
What he really bought this couple is quality time together. I imagine they rarely see each other and, when they do, they are probably just worn out from working. Kudos to this CEO for using money he could have kept to make a difference!
This brought such emotion to me, I had tears, the way Randy was so grateful, speechless and stunned with the remarkable gift Jack gave him is so touching and just the act alone of what Jack did is so heartfelt and beyond kind.
Imagine going to work thinking it's a normal day and your boss pays off your mortgage and gives you $50,000 gotta be a surreal feeling. Dude seems like he really deserves it
LOVE this!! So admirable to honor a hardworking employee and such a joy to be generous and be able to really help someone in way that is transformative. His gratitude is palpable - just beautiful!
The MOST GENEROUS undercover boss ive seen, in alllllll these. Its not just this guy that he gave soo much, there are more employees that ive watched. Sooooo sooo generous.. God multiply his blessings
Randy seems like a fun guy to work with. He’ll joke around with you but he’ll gladly teach you any knowledge he has. Seems like an honest man that did everything right but life did him dirty. You can see the relief in his face when he’s calling his wife, I hope Randy n his wife are relaxing on beautiful beach somewhere far away from the stress of life.
I love working with guys like him you can joke around and laugh but when it's time to be serious everything is lesson you constantly being taught I've learned they're hard to come by in coworkers in these times
Man this made me happy, I’m a buss boy and I love my job, sure it’s not the best job. But to me, it’s everything I love the interactions with the guests (most are regulars) I had a different past life I was into drugs got in a lot of trouble and always thought I was to good for a real job. But being a buss boy is the best thing to happen to me, the guests remember my name the employees remember my name. I think so highly of the snooty pig in argyle tx. Thank you marge and Blake (the owners) I can say with certainty I love those two people they treat me like their son and not an employee. I get up in the mornings ready to see them, and the guests. I have a lot on my plate (I’m 21) and I’ve turned down job offers that pay slightly more (I make $12/hour) because the way they make me feel is priceless.
when you have a job you love, going to work with a smile on your face is great. I have done some jobs in the past that I truly disliked, but I stuck it out for the money. even though it made me miserable. Always try to be happy
This one hit hard man, really relate to his issues, can't even imagine the amount of weight you've lifted from his shoulders. What a man, and what a mans to help him
I wish the same. But more so I wish and hope to be that special angel for someone, even if it isn't at this level. Everyone can be - you never know how much even a single compliment can lift someone up. Especially when they are having a bad day.
When he told his wife you don't have to work two jobs anymore that really hit me. There are so many people out there that are struggling, we should be thankful for everything we have.
Wow! This is one of my favorites. The guy was so happy go lucky and had a great sense of humor. You would never know the troubles he was going through. Try your best to be good to people because you never know, they could possibly have more problems than you, and a simple smile could help them get through the day. The boss is the kind of person who gives me hope for humanity.
Awesome. Dope to see hard working people get a break. Good to see people in the position to help and reward the people that make there business run and be successful. This is America to me. 🤘
Wonderful story. It must be a fantastic feeling to be able to help people like this. If I ever came into money I would help out so many people more in need than me.
This is an ideal example of a CEO that understands the plight of his employees. He went beyond but he did so because he had a connection with him, saw that he was going to look after him and have fun with him during work. That's something that great co-workers do for one another.
The sad thing is money almost always corrupts even really good people. By the time people get to that CEOs position they often come out entirely different people.
Now that is a proper CEO ,his company will always succeed with him at the helm ,massive respect to this guy ,he actually gets it ,your company is nothing without good employees,👍👍👍👍
Gosh, what a gift. Can you imagine a terrible stroke of financial misfortune that changes the trajectory of your life in later years? Glad this man and his wife got some breathing room.
This right here is the reason I aspire to become a CEO. I make as much of a difference as I can now, but truly touching the heart's of employees is what it's all about. Without motivated and happy employees, there is no business and this CEO understands that.
Respect to that CEO. Sometimes they get it, and sometimes they don't. This one got it. His people are the most important asset his company has and he's treating them like it. Fuck yeah!
I know this video is posted by the company itself for good publicity or what not, but honestly everyone at that company should be proud of who they work for. I’ve never heard of a more generous CEO and one that helps the people that helped put him where he is now. I’m glad corporate greed didn’t get to one of them. Absolutely awesome.
