Leaving store order for me: I start the car to get the air on while holding my daughter's hand. Put the groceries in, with her standing between me and the car. Take her with me to put the cart up, then go back to the car and put her in. You never know what could happen while your back is turned. Though it would be hard or an inconvenience, my vehicle and groceries can be replaced, but my child can't. That's what I do and my reasonings for it.😊

It is so hot in AZ when I lived there I got up very early and went shopping. I dont think I went to the mall at all in the summer just to hot. You are so sweet to do that for everyone.
The crazy pieces have only just put out their vlog of getting their suitcases organized.they are bit behind in putting vlogs out.if Melinda and Scarlett are already back.its great that you are putting out alot of videos which is great.
Haha I understand the whole no one around when you neeed someone! Been there done that and the tears are real at times. But the best thing you can do is get up and do it anyway! Which you already know cause you did ❤ Love seeing you grow hun!
It is so nice to see all these vlogs you are putting out. However, I do understand how busy life can get. I am a people person too, so when my family is gone for more than two days I am chomping at the bit to see them. Love the baby, she is growing so fast.
I have watched you since your family first starting doing these videos. My favorite of the ones you have done lately is the Q & A and also I like the hauls you do from different stores. And its so cute when you include Bexley..She is so adorable. Hope to see more of those.
I always park right next to a cart corral or right across from it. I always start my car and roll windows down for air flow and turn a/c on, put everything in the vehicle, put my child in the car, put the cart away, then put myself in the car. I understand that everyone may not live where you can get close to one. In those cases I do the same thing only putting my cart away, then my child, then myself.
i have two boys 2.5&4 i unload all the groceries with one hand or foot always on the cart, i leave them in the cart, take the cart back, walk back to the car we have handprint magnets on the side of the car they both have to keep their hands on them until i open the younger kiddos door, oldest kiddo climbs in first to go over to his car seat then i put the youngest in his seat buckle him, lock the door behind him go to the other side buckle in my 4 year old (he’s autistic so we have extra safety locks on his so he doesn’t undo his car seat) then lock the door behind me and go up to my seat and get in and go!
Gift giving is my love language too. I love giving gifts to people but yes I’m always broke lol. But doing nice things for people is what I like to do. You’re so sweet for doing that for Melinda and Scarlett. Youre a good sister cousin.
Go to your car with trolley unload your shopping then take the trolley back with Bexley in it and then carry or walk her back to the car that way you aren't leaving your child alone in the car.
Lacey try Dr bronners liquid soap for you body wash. You just need a few drops on your poofy. Tea tree is medicated to cleanse those scratches or any blemishes... Peppermint will cool your skin. Lavender and rose are flowery, Eucalyptus in the winter or if you're sick. And my fav is citrus it's bright and cheerful and unisex. You can use it for your clothes too. It only seems expensive but you can replace all kind of items with it and it's super concentrated.
I always put my baby into the car first then groceries into my car lock my door run like heck to the cart corral to drop off my cart then I run back to the car to unlock and start it. It's different if I have my wife with me, but that's my order when I'm alone. Mostly because I'd rather have my child safe in the car. There are so many crazies here, and I live in the state where some lady killed a 3 year old while the mom was putting her groceries into her car and her son was sitting in the cart. I also, though, don't live in a state that is over 100 degrees regularly, so absolutely no judgment from anyone who does things differently. I just have a lot of anxiety when it comes to keeping my child safe.

For me Its always been get kids in the car, turn vehicle on, put shopping bags in the trunk and return cart which we always park near. A woman and her 3yr old was just attacked while she was putting grocery bags in her trunk. The kid was sitting in the front seat part of the cart when he was attacked and he didn’t make it sadly 😢 The offender stole a knife from the thrift store next store and walked around the grocery store with it before choosing her victims and followed them to their car in the parking lot. This happened in Ohio.
Are remote car starters popular in Arizona? If you have remote car starter I would start the car so it can cool off while loading groceries or whatever shipping then take Bexkey with you to return the cart. I usually try to park next to cart return to make it easier. Then put Bexley in then you get in. Here in NY with multiple kids when car temp isn't an issue you can open the windows alittle put kids in first then unload shopping. Usually I'm next to cart return but if I have to walk to return it I take kids with me. It's an extra step to put them in twice but safety first is worth it.

Just to say what your brought for movie night are called caddys. I used to use one everyday when i was house keeper. They are multi usage though. Well done for uploading another vlog this week
I make certain to park near a basket dispenser area to begin with......then I would first use a cooling hack to get the heat out of the car. Open passenger side windows....and then open and close driver side doors 3 times (this pumps the stagnated heat out of the car) close passenger windows....put Bex in car with a/c running......put groceries in car......lock car and bring basket to dispenser area and then get into the car.
That was a nice welcome home surprise you prepared, Lacey! I understand totally what you mean with the need for a vacation from a vacation. But, it can be so different when you don't overbook the activities in the vacation. Do the things you really want and don't do at home. Choose wisely your company or an alone time. Make sure that when you are back from vacation; you don't pick up immediately your routine. Take a day to adjust; especially when there is a different timezone. You can learn how you wish to vacation, how to travel and where to or with whom. Vacation should be enjoyable and not tiresome. Anyway, this became my perspective on vacation very soon. Have quality time with your sister cousin/room-mate. Thank you for sharing.
Start the car.... AC on. Put you items in the car with your kid in the cart or touching it. Lock your car as needed. Walk the cart to the put-away with your kid with you then walk back, unlock the car, load your kid. Lock again if she is not on your side. Walk to your own door. Get in. Lock yourselves in.
We live in Arizona as well? I actually have both car keys, I turn on car with one key roll down windows less then half way so hot air escapes and lock doors then I put groceries in trunk but car away and then I put my babies in car seats lock doors and then get myself in car

I have 4 kids. My order is kids in car first, then groceries then I put the cart away with the kids in the car but keys in my hand. I live in a very very safe town. I always park beside the buggy station.
So I put my purchases in my car, then return my cart and then take my son and sometimes another baby I tend back to the car and put them in the car. I open the door and let my son climb in and begins getting into his car seat, shut the door and go put the baby in and then go help my some with his car seat straps. Then I jump in and turn the car on. I do this in the summer 100 degree heat and the winter 0 degree weather.
When I go to the Walmart with my mom I will put my groceries I will unlock car then put my groceries into the car the start up my car then put my chart away go into my car go home

When I have my goddaughter with me and we go to the store, my order of everything is put the kid in the car (she usually climbs in thru the trunk since it’s fun and I have a van), then I unload the groceries, then put the cart up. If it’s super hot out (I live in FL) then I’ll start the car before I put her in the car or if I only have 1 bag and I’m close to the cart return if I do grab a cart then I just wait until I’m in the car to start it. Also I almost always have someone with me so I never just leave my goddaughter in the car alone, there are way too many creeps and kidnappers in the world 🫤
