Sometimes I was lucky he didn't see me, sometimes I was able to save myself. Either way, it was scary every time. As a bonus I added a moment to the end, when he was unable to reach me.
@@jindrichsander7271 I’m not exactly sure if I’m even capable of drinking alcohol since I’m an alien but what the heck? First time for everything. Thanks.
Devs did a great job using the A.I and rubber band system, also making the creature so imposing, this was the Aliens sequel we should have got instead of whatever Prometheus was trying to do, less said about Covenant the better playing with each others flute.
Have you played alien isolation blackout yet it's a little bit different than the previous alien isolation game no offense but I love the first alien isolation game better
@@greengrugach1984 it's a good game to play but still I think it's worth it just like the first alien isolation game and this game is a little bit more creepy and you have to keep your Crew from the xenomorph and I think you have to block the xenomorph from getting in but still it's really hard at first then you just get used to it
His vision cone is extremely narrow. He can spot you in a straight line over hundreds of meters, but you can be right next to him, if he doesn't look in your direction (and you are quiet). The first clip demonstrates this well.
@@greengrugach1984 Glad I could help, this game is really tough the first time, even on normal difficulty. The most useful tactic is dynamic hiding, which I use a few times in this video. If you stay in one place, he will find you sooner or later. So stay in crouch and keep moving, and always try to keep an object in the line of sight. If he's in the vents, he can't hear your steps when you walk normally, so use that opportunity to move. You only need to crouch when he drops.
@@Melosyna you are most kind, thank you for those tips too, I played it last night and progressed faster using your tips, I don't know how far I am in, I'm in the Habitation tower and have to find a way to dock the Torrence, bloody hard though, it grabbed me from above last night and I literally let out a sqeal like a 2 year old 🤣, it's kicking my butt, I've only started playing it again after a few years so you know yourself what it's like trying to get reorientation, I work at a dev team called Motive, trying to find inspiration as we are in pre-production on Deadspace 2 remake, apologies on behalf of the team for the state at launch, we asked for another 3 months to optimise but EA execs said no, if we had the 3 months it would have been 4k scaling 30fps with rtx on big two with 60fps at 1800p with enhanced ssr, on Series S we could have had 1440p with essr at 30fps, 60fps with standard ssr at scaling 720-1080p at 60fps with minor dips, PC optimisation was poor and we are working on a patch just need to take a break as I've been doing 12-16hr shifts 7 days a week for months, odd time 6 days a week, the devs at Creative Assembly did such a good job, seems like it uses an A.I and rubber band system so creature knows you are in a certain area but doesn't know exactly where, clever especially since it was a 2014 game, I think, they have some great devs there and unlike us they hired talent instead of hiring based on box ticking, tell you what, next game we make I will send you a review copy for being so kind here, you'd think I'd be great playing games being a dev 🤣
@@greengrugach1984 That's very nice of you, thank you. 😃 Yes, the game indeed uses two different AI systems, one director AI that always knows where Amanda is and sends the Alien into her proximity, and the Alien AI itself, that has to hunt down Amanda's exact position uses its senses. It also unlocks new behaviors later in the game and it's also learning, so when you overuse certain tacticts, the Alien will adapt. In one playthrough I overused the soundmaker, and later in the game, instead of going after it to investigate, the Alien ignored it and instead checked the direction WHERE IT CAME FROM. That is really scary stuff... You think you found out how to trick that beast, and it's getting smarter along the way.
Nice Im making an Alien's game I actually used your video paused for a reference image for some of the props such an awesome game Isolation defo my fave horror.
I know right it's really hard to get passed the xenomorph don't forget about watch out how you use the tracker it can hear the tracker this game is so good for the first time I played it on my Xbox 360 the best terrifying games ever made
The lift one you did on purpose imo You'll have made a noise then edited the video to start at the lift. Ive seen people shoot the gun, then run to the lift, and they just make it
I played mostly on nightmare difficulty. If you think the game is easy, I recommend you to play it and see for yourself. 😄 Yes, the alien sometimes overlooks you due to its narrow vision cone, but in general the AI is extremely unforgiving.
