I really don't want to see them either, Chibnall overused them for almost all 3 of his finales and specials, we never had a single new years special without the daleks and series 12 was flooded with them.

I think it could be the trickster. Too many similarities between this season of doctor who and Sarah Jane and all the Easter eggs related to the trickster not unless russle is fooling all us diehard trickster fans 😂😭

@@CyberController-her are few reasons she could be coming: 1. In DWM, one of the producers was sharing a story about how they mistakenly called the main villain, Poirot. As in Hercule poirot, and I feel like Hecuba as a name could easily be mixed with hercule. Maybe they were hinting at another character but i think this connection works 2. She is the queen of time, meaning she’s plays game with time instead of toys like the toy maker. There is been a lot of weird things happening with time. Now, that point could really apply to anyone. Although, in the trailers, we see sand blowing through the city. She is associated with the “sands of time”; so that could be a sign of her forthcoming 3. There was a rumor of a second doctor recasting, although take it with a grain of salt. If it is true, it puts a lot of things into place. Hecuba’s original story was actually a canceled episode from the second doctor era and never made until picked up by big finish. That means that to show the past of the Hecuba, they would have to shoot new scenes. Maybe that’s why the second doctor had to be recast? 4. There is a character called just Harriet in the next episode. Could she be a harbinger like the last character with no surname in the cast list: Henry? Maybe she is the daughter of Hecuba, in the same way Henry is the son of maestro. Truthfully, a harbinger could be for any god but it would make sense if it’s kind of a tradition for the toy maker family 5. Kind of makes sense that the one who waits, the one who the toy maker wouldn’t dare face, is his own big sister. 6. There is a new tales of the Tardis next week, could this be used to give viewers a more detailed explanation of who Hecuba is? Maybe they use thenew scenes they filmed in place of a classic episode? Just speculation at this point In truth, the new character could be anyone or anything. I just think a lot of signs point towards Hecuba.

@@Biotyn It just doesn't feel like a big enough name for such build up. Omega or the Trickster seem far more likely, and both have a larger fanbase.

@@CyberController- the toy maker didn’t have that big of a fanbase before the 60th. I think Russel cares more about what works for the story he wants to tell, then using big names. That doesn’t mean it couldn’t be omega or the trickster either. They are just feeling a little to obvious at this point to me

@alexwhelm2 I mean from the synopsis and the next time trailer it definitely seems like something is unleashed. And given Maestro's warning, it's probably The One Who Waits. Susan Twist might be to it what Harbinger was to Maestro, albeit unknowingly.
