Whoever the villain is I like that we don't actually know for sure. In years gone by we would of said oh this is the Cybermen episode, this is the Daleks episode and they would of just shown it in the preview. It's so rare to not have spoilers in this day & age.

RTD posted a photo montage of Susan’s different characters with the clue “there’s always a Twist at the end”. People who’ve previously worked with Susan Twist were leaving comments about how lovely she is, and I noticed that nobody who knows her personally refers to her as ‘Susan’. They all call her ‘Sue’. That makes me lean more into the Sutekh theory.

I’m putting all my money on The Trickster. Reasons: In Whatever Happened to Sarah Jane Smith, he says “I have been waiting, searching through time for just the right person at just the right moment” Throughout Season 1, we keep hearing about “The One Who Waits” by Toymaker and Maestro and only they mention that name. Two god-like villains mentioning the same name? Hmm… In 73 Yards Triad Technology didn’t end the universe in the altered timeline, which suggests that Ruby and The Doctor are needed for the chaotic finale. Triad Tech was first mentioned in The Giggle which shows that they are an established company in the 60th Specials. The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith has Sarah Jane ‘coincidentally’ meeting Peter Dalton who made a deal with The Trickster. What 60th Special has two characters very coincidentally meeting each other? The Star Beast. (I’m not saying The Doctor or Donna made a deal with The Trickster) Think about it. Isn’t it weird how at the right time and place, an alien problem starts occurring near Donna just when The Doctor lands and coincidentally meets her again. Isn’t it also weird how the Meep starts getting associated with Donna’s family where this whole thing leads to Wild Blue Yonder and onwards? It feels like it’s staged to me. (Yes I know it could be the writers getting them back together. But you can’t deny how coincidental their reunion is) Meep mentioned about a “boss”. The Trickster is known for using other aliens to do his work e.g. Graske. So could the Meep have fled to earth to not only act out its own plans, but to also act out the Trickster’s plan to get Donna and The Doctor back together to cause the ‘salt incident’? In The Devil’s Chord, Maestro uses the Doctor Who Soundtrack to distract Ruby and The Doctor. When Maestro forces Ruby to sing, they’re worried and confused. She’s not singing what Maestro wants. She’s singing The Trickster’s theme. But when The Doctor gives context about the Christmas carol playing, Maestro immediately puts 2 and 2 together and figures out who it is. If Maestro can use the Doctor Who Soundtrack, that means that they could know about other soundtracks related to villains. We’ve seen the TARDIS fly and crash into new places: Space Babies, The Legend Of Ruby Sunday etc. This has voiced concerns in the fandom on why it’s so fast at landing and crashing into new places. It’s confirmed something is wrong with the TARDIS which would explain the crashing. When did the TARDIS start crashing? The 2024 Children In Need Special. Could this confirm that these events happening in the new season were established in this special? Idk, but it’s worth thinking about. But idk, maybe I’m just posting fan fiction for all I know lol

I think shes been working on Tardis technology for decades and we have already seen the moment she cracked it. The end of Star Beast, when the Tardis went crazy, it wasnt because Donna spilled Coffee, it was because Susan finally got her Tardis tech to work and thats the moment she started getting thrown throughout time and space. Rememeber, the first place the Tardis goes is to Isaac Newton and shes there. Shes not following Ruby or the Doctor, shes following the Tardis. I also think the Tardis was forced to the edge of the galaxy, because SuTech wanted the Doctor to use salt to break down the door between worlds, so he could begin his invasioh.

RTD asked us to watch 5 episodes. 2 of them episodes, the doctor is seen as a monk. He is also dressed like a monk in the short trailer we've been given at the end of rogue.

After reading the pulled Bleeding Cool article which mentions things going very Neil Gaiman and something bizarre happening with the TARDIS I think that Susan Twist and Mrs. Flood are the human personifications of 14 and 15’s TARDIS: Susan Twist always follows the Doctor and Ruby wherever they are in time and always incorporating blue for the future and red for the past, which corresponds with the colors of the time vortex. Her being the personification of 15’s TARDIS it would make sense for her to follow wherever they go. It would also explain for why the ship the TARDIS is malfunctioning if part of her became human. Mrs. Flood is 14’s TARDIS as she always is in present day earth which makes sense as 14 is retired and mostly stays put. She also say never seen a TARDIS before, perhaps she is talking about herself.

So hear me out… Not sure which episode but I remember Ncuti saying that the Bi-generation ‘literally ripped him in two’. Now to me this makes sense as the doctor in this season has not been as focused, quick thinking or as effective as previously. So perhaps he lost half of his intelligence, focus and so fourth (the other half with Tenant living with the Donner)? So if everything of the doctor got split in the bi-generation…. then potentially his timeline did aswell? Well his future timeline anyway! Remember the Great Intelligence intended to destroy the doctor simultaneously along all of his timeline at Trenzalor? Due to the salt spreading, the timeline has now changed and the pantheon has been released, changing the direction of the Doctors story from the original line of events. Now based on this, there would be two halves to the doctor currently, with Ncuti & Tenant…. But as we saw at Trenzalore there is also the great intelligence And Clara merged throughout his timeline! In theory, the split pieces of the timeline could be considered as the doctor, Clara and the great intelligence (living snow??). Now wouldn’t that be a twist. You could almost call them a Triad👀. The great intelligence has already been confirmed in doctor who literature to part of a a group of individuals from a different universe who managed to move to the Who universe and gained god like powers on arrival. Conveniently we now find ourselves facing a set of villains with godlike power who have been recently been invited into a the Who universe who also associate themselves as a group! All of which have titles begging with ‘the’! ‘The toymaker’, ‘the great intelligence’, ‘the maestro’…. With the above in mind, after the timeline split, what would happen to Clara and the great intelligence? I believe that what was left of Clara and the great intelligence in the timeline went on to form Ruby Sunday and Susan Twist. Ruby being the girl that had been able to at some stage manifests snow and is repeatedly presented as impossible, just like Clara. Then Susan is a woman who is massively connected to technology and seen throughout the Doctors timeline now post the Bi-generation! Similar to the great intelligence. Further to this, The only other time we have seen emotion related snow in doctor who is in the snowman episode when Clara dies(which is another Christmas episode)! But please let me go a step further! In the Yeti episode with the second doctor, which is masterminded by the great intelligence! the Yetis are eventually stopped by destroying the PYRAMIDS that control them, something recently linked to Susan Twist in the latest trailers. You thought that was all? In the missing adventure ‘millennial rites’, the supreme intelligence forms one part of a group called the ‘TRIAD’, with the another god known as Suprazel (apologies for the spelling) when the great intelligence is suddenly summoned back to earth. He then proceeds to alter this world to one more similar to his own. You want more? Okay, In the latest episode of Doctor Who(Rogue) we actually see the face of Dr Simeon! who was at one time the face of the Great Intelligence! - i know this has been written off that he was at one point the doctor due to some voice acting he did but honestly they could of shown any faces here… I think that was put in place intentionally as a clue in plain site! A bit of a stretch I know, but let me know what you think!

The TARDIS actually crashed right after his regeneration from Jodie into Tennant. The children in need short. So the TARDIS has been acting up since this regeneration happened.

Whats weird about Susan Triad, is that she's in this final episode, but wasn't mentioned or affected anything in 73 yards, if Susan was this big bad final plot how come this big bad thing didn't happen in the 73 Yards alt universe?.... And does this mean there's 3 Susan in around the same time period, whatever is happening, it's attached to the Tardis, That's the only theory I can slightly rap my head around...

You missed Kronos from 3rd Doctor story Time Monster. They have multiple forms They are a God/ess and could link to new who as a Jodie now battles Time. Time waits for no Doctor.

Why has nobody mentioned HECUBA the sister of the toymaker? In The Queen of Time " it mentions "Somewhere outside our universe, she is waiting. A God like immortal, living in a realm of clocks. The hours tick slowly by as she plots and plans. She is readying her trap. A trap for a very special man in a very special police box. Hecuba has all the time in the world. But for the Doctor time is running out". That covers both the one who waits and the ageless enemy. Also all the triangles in this series hidden in plain sight suggest a connection to the number 3. We've had the toymaker and maestro so maybe in the finale we get the oldest member of the family namely Hecuba the immortal one who waits.

I think Susan Triad is... ... ... ... ... Susan Triad. I mean, I think we need to look beyond the fact that Susan Triad is an anagram of Tardis Anus... LOL It may be that she is being influenced/controlled by the "the Villain of the piece"... whoever that will be... and that might be why she has a presence in all the different time periods. However, looking back at the episodes we have seen so far... Susan Twist's characters haven't actually done anything particularly malevolent (except, as the Ambulance... but that could have just been standard programming because of the algorithm in place to keep the war going). And, in fact, in 73 Yards, she was just as "terrified" of the old woman (old Ruby) as everyone else... not such an all powerful villain, then. Even in the trailer for the first part of the finale, we hear her saying that she is in all these places in her dreams... I think that that is meant to tell us that it's not a conscious thing, on her part. So, I will be surprised if she is the main villain... unless, maybe, she is "The Rani", and in the 21st Century, she has used the device to hide her true Timelord/Timelady nature. That could be why she only has subconscious "memories" of the other time periods that she has visited. Then, maybe "The Rani" gets re-awakened, somehow, in the finale, and becomes the "big bad". However, that might explain how she had the ability to time travel to be in the other stories, and why (even subconsciously) she has knowledge of technology, which she introduced in the 21st century... but it doesn't explain why she wasn't more villainous before. When we consider *who* Susan Triad is, and how she fits in, we really need to be thinking about *what* Susan Twist's characters have actually done... and the answer to that is... so far... not a lot!

Could be a coincidence but the mysterious woman who drops ruby off is clearly wearing boots that look as far as I can tell pretty much identical to the ones Ruby wears, only noticed it last night rewatching church on Ruby road for clues. I'm also going to guess that Mrs Flood is the doctor's grand daughter Susan based on that same episode. She says she's hasn't seen police box in 50 years, but once she sees the TARDIS fly off her attitude towards it changes completely also being very jovial with the dctor. She's encourage's Ruby to go with the doctor telling her "Good Luck" and she knows what a TARDIS is. I guess she's could be another Harbringer type character, where her name is a clue but that's not really enough to go off of in my opinion.

I'm afraid it's not going to be nearly as exciting and clever as some of the fan theories. I'd love to see an old Classic Who villain that we haven't seen for a long time and who has powers different than your typical alien foe. DW needs something fresh, different, unexpected. And I hope they can use it to fix the Timeless Child idea somehow. Make it a lie or a plot by one of these super powerful other-dimensional beings who can bend time and space at their will. Just don’t make the Doctor one of them. Let him go back to being a rebelious Gallifreyan.

My theory…Susan Triad is the 3rd incarnation of Susan Foreman. She reads as human because the chameleon device (maybe it’s not a fob watch this time) has a perception filter that affects people and machines equally to register her as human. Carole Ann Ford could still show up in flashbacks.

You haven't mentioned the Rani. There's a fan theory that the Rani will return, but not necessarily as Susan Twist. Some fans even believe that Mel might be the Rani, but personally, I don't think they'll reuse that idea.

I argue any theory incorporating Susan Foreman must explain who has any connection to Susan Foreman other than a Doctor. And not the regular Doctor, who thinks about but does not obsess about Susan. That is the key difference. I argue you have to have a Doctor who obsesses about Susan, for whom Susan was the last person they had any personal connection with. That is I argue the Third Doctor Inferno alternate universe Doctor. Also Inferno actually had a symbol that was a triad -- look at the caps of the military. There is a symbol that in retrospect I interpret as a Tardis surrounded by what is commonly known in art as the flanking Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge. This is a thing I learned from a Great Course on Western art. So my wild idea is Susan Triad is the Inferno Doctor's imposing his memories of his Susan on the non-fully-working Tardis. Also Ruby Sunday I speculate is an agent sent from the Inferno universe to neutralize the Inferno Doctor. The magic this series happens not just because of 14 and salt, but because the Inferno Doctor is also willing a breakdown of the walls between imagination and reality, similar to how drilling to the Earth's core in Inferno was a ridiculous overreach of drilling for energy.

The episode the Mastreo mentioned the one who waits is returning, which could imply Susan Foreman but that will mad and bonkers. The only other character that could wait for the doctor is Romana

The tardis making weird sounds you can even connect it back to the 13th doctor regeneration. Before she regenerates the chloister bell goes off the doctor says why is the chloister bell going off, but we never get and answer since she gets distracted with the whole regeneration thing. Which my final theory is Kronos because he can devour time itself so that is why the tardis is hurting.

If rtd said that it is connected to a 3rd doctor story i think omega is most likely. Another theory about ruby is that family is another big part of this series is family almost each episode has something connected with family so i wouldn't be surprised if ruby turns out to be related to the doctor

I think that Sutek is likely. My other wild thought is that because the TARDIS was split it is now dying and Susan is the dying TARDIS that is projecting itself everywhere, but that Ruby is the young new manifestation of the TARDIS and she will be absorbed into the blue box and will now always be with the doctor. That's why they get on so well.

Calling it now, people are overthinking it, and it'll be the Trickster. RTD's already said there'll be no returning villains from Doctor Who, which rules out Sutekh, Fenric, etc, by default. The Trickster is a member of the Pantheon of Discord, who the Doctor's already met 2 members of in recent memory, so this pattern continuing wouldn't be shocking. SJA never got to finish it's 5th Season due to the passing of Elisabeth Sladen, and that season's finale featured a plotline with a 'new companion' being a child of the Trickster. The Trickster is one of the most requested villains by fans of SJA to actually appear in the main show. The Trickster is actually powerful enough to warrant being a series-ending villain, and it thriving on chaos would link back to the whole 'salt' thing allowing superstition (and ultimately chaos) back into the universe. Also! Given the way Davies likes to lay out clues, Sue-Tech would be far too on-the-nose for his style.

If we are going to link back to a 3rd Doctor story, I am surprised that Kronos the last story of Season 9 hasn't been mentioned. Kronos is a god appearing in multiple forms - as a bird, as a woman, etc - and lives in interstitial time.

Just watched 'Spearhead' and the most relevant thing to the new run and the Tardis was the third said (on not being able to use the Tardis) they had changed the de-materialise code. Right now the Tardis doesnt materialise... Other theories Susan Triad is the Queen weeping angel? Reference to being statuesque in Ep 2. Also from that Margaret Lockwood line.. that character took on other peoples persona's and was a bit of highway woman like -The Rani in 'Mark of 'where she was a old woman at the bath house and as Mel in 'Time and the ' where she stole scientists out of time. I think she's the Doctor's mother, and her essence is trapped inside the fob watch that was dropped inside the Tardis at the end of Flux. Every time the Doctor travels somewhere the fob watch gets exposed to the time vortex, which is why new varients keep appearing where the Doctor travels to.

Susan Triad will get splintered in time like the impossible girl (Clara) meaning she falls afoul of the Rani or the Valeyard and enters their timestream. Mel also needs to be reunited with a classic villain she faced before (like Tegan and Ace + the Master, Sarah Jane + Davros) so either would work.

Wouldn't the 'Doctor's mom' and Tecteun be the same person? The whole point is that no one knows where the Timeless Child came from and they were raised by Tecteun _so...._
