Don't take it the wrong way, but this is exactly why in Europe it's substandard. Different roads, different needs.

I disagree I find the ride to soft and the boot far more usable than the up ( I've had a citygo ) and quicker 0_60 but it does feel cheep even though bit was

Fuel economy is good, I can't deny it. The rest is... also economy.

Very frugal on gas and spacious. looks is just fine, i dont really mind to be macho looking anyway. what matters most to me is how much money i can save but not commute to bus or train. i will take care of this car for years it is my first car. if lets say i get a family i will not sell it. i will buy a bigger car and the celerio will be like our grocery getter or errand car. it will be nice.

matUKlondon We have celerio since 8 months and we are totally happy. We love this car. It is perfect for city but we use also for holidays. Can travel long trip with no problems. Compared to our friends other small cars (different brands), inside celerio is more confortable with little (but important) extra space everywhere. Suzuki service is also very good.This review here is totally unfair and misleading: Suzuki is one of the best car manufacturer when talking about cheap but very good reliable small car. (it uses little gazoline, not a minor point...indeed!)

+Mauro Be Long trips are not best suited for the car but I have gone 500+ miles in a day and I can complain about back support, those seats are not made for longer trips. However, I am getting 63.1 mpg on average, the engine works perfectly, ideal for city driving. Had it serviced in August 2016 - noticed it burned some oil over the first of owning it, but never topped up, service was all ok. Be careful at speed, a tarmac chip hit my door right under the right mirror and it is now dented. Also, got a scratch in the rear - someone scraped it while parking. It is solid white paint and gets dirty very easy, but with regular cleaning the car still looks brand new. May need to get wheel alignment done, but this is usual stuff. The celerio functions perfectly, even the seats still look good. I am half way through my finance already and will not be looking to replace. I may complain the aux in port would be useful, but otherwise I am perfectly happy with my purchase.

I'd make a separation between a mode of transport you need, and a car you want. Can you get a mode of transport for 10k? These days probably something Chinese, but it's going to be difficult. Can you get a new car you want for 10k? Most likely no.

+Ribeirasacra It was a chilly morning ;) This is not a car, it's sort of like a shopping trolley. I understand there's a market for this sort of vehicles, not necessarily in Europe. It's hard to justify it, when there are considerably better second hand options.

@@MarekDrives shopping trolley.... LOL. I was thinking to change my Seat Leon MK1 for this car but seeing your comment, I think better I keep my 2005 Leon. It drives like a champ even after 17 years. I use it for food delivery right now, that's why I'm thinking to change it for a smaller car. Maybe I should go for the VW Up which is also German quality as it is the Seat Leon.

Really? Did you sit in the Celerio or ? I'm 184cm tall. Looking for my first car. Suzuki vs Mitsubishi. Celerio= more headroom. Mitsubishi = more legroom?? Help appreciated. I don't want a bigger car.

+ast5515 I remember driving 1st generation Hyundai i10 a few years back. Just like the Celerio it was cheap and functional. I stopped at the lights, and there was a pretty girl in a car next to me. I looked at her, she looked in my direction, and in her eyes I saw what she thought about the i10. I was transparent.

Marek Drives Might be a country thing, but the i10 is more expensive than the Celerio here. The Celerio is only offered in 1 trim, with the only extra being an automatic gearbox. For the same price, you can get an i10 without air conditioning, heated rear windows, powered outside mirrors, powered front windows, USB, central locking, height adjustable driver seat, spare wheel. You don't even get a radio. At all. NO speakers! If you want to get the same equipment in the i10, it costs 35-40% more. The Celerio has all of this, and more, EXCEPT for the powered mirrors. Like I said, it might be a country thing. Some cars only make sense in certain countries. Hungary is a place, where the Celerio makes sense. Would you pay 40% more to drive an i10, if you had 27% VAT and earned half as much money as the rest of Europe?
