I'm working on the next episode from my Sweden trip where I'm reunited with an old friend, the mighty Cessna 150, on a historic WWII airfield on Gotland.
While in Sweden I met a lot of people from the aviation community. Claes, Henrik and Robert, who all appear in different episodes from my trip, are starting a cool new initiative called "The Day Experience".
The idea is that there are many interesting events that are hard to get to by normal travel options, leading to multiple connections and overbooked hotels. So why not charter an airliner, fly right up to the doorstep and then fly back home again in the evening?
Last year they filled an Airbus with 221 other aviation enthusiasts and flew to Aero Expo in Friedrichshafen. This year they are doing it again, but with two planes. (because why not?..)
If you are in Sweden, check out www.thedayexperience.se and see if you can join them!
(NOTE: this is NOT a paid ad placement, I'm sharing to help them get the word out because I think this is great - Please consider sharing with anyone you think may find this interesting)

I love little Cessna 150s. My grandfather and great grandfather owned 150F that my dad grew up flying in. My dad and I owned a 150F together too. Family tradition!
