I loved this game on the Vita ... if the newest SAO game comes on Switch... I’ll definitely buy the Switch and the game

I love the anime. Alphheim online was my favorite world but gun gale was good too.

I picked up this Game, Fatal Bullet and Lost Song they were cheap. I loved the arts style so I wanted to give it a chance. Alot of times the Games everyone praises I dont like as much and vise versa. My gut tells me I'm going to really enjoy this series more than this video is letting on.

I’ve been beating the games left and right I beat lost song and fatal bullet and I’m currently doing Alicization lycoris and I saw this game on the e store for 8 bucks and there was no way in hell I was finna pass it up and it’s the deluxe edition so

Tried it for 20 hours, i still prefer SAO Fatal Bullet, might give it a go more later

Watching this review again after watching the IGN review really makes me feel bad for the reviewer there as the comments mocks him thinking that he has no idea what he’s talking about. But both of these reviews are pretty similar in regards to their criticisms with this providing more context than the other. But both were good in their own rights.

ill say this, i enjoyed the heck out of it on my vita but i hated the control scheme, this version seems to mix the two best elements of the ps4 and psv versions, portability and fairly fun combat on a full controller set up this time, fatal bullet is still my fave in the series, mainly cuz you play as you and not Kirito and its fun, if janky, and a new contender in the new alicization game has got me atm but this one is still fun but i would definitly wait for a sale if you want to try it out

I also played SAOHRDE on Switch and I have a question: are there any bugs occurred in your gameplay? Because mine bugs is when Players (NPC with blue name text) in town stop spawning, sleeping in Inn does not help, go out to the field and come back also don't help. Progressing the story much further doesn't helping either, NPCs still not spawning in Town.

I have this on my vita and whenever I'm having trouble trying to sleep I'll just boot up the game. Better than a lullaby.

It's an ok port but to be fair Sword Art Online games dont really have high expectations to be any good. Just glad we can play it on a better portable console than vita

German is far better than english for this game, as far as i can tell. The game is also an easy run for unskilled people like i was. I did nothing and spammed the attack button without knowing any timing-skill-needed-techniques. The fun stars pretty much in the second DLC. Despite that, there were like two mobs/bosses, which were interesting: a skeleton with a sword and another fast creature, i've seen first in the tutorial dungeon. These creatures were able to block my attacks, chased me and interrupt me within my attacks. They were pretty strong in the duel-update too.

I know this is probably never going to happen but why do they no longer do English voice acting in anime games specifically sword art online just wondering? And yes literally asking a question about this

It is a good thing i watched this because it is on sale for the Switch right now for like 8$ Canadian but seeing that the game is more dialog than gameplay as you described i wont be picking up this title and as much as i love RPG games i like to get into a story when needed only.

Bought this game for 5 bucks on Switch. Never once played an SAO game, but I'm a big fan of .hack so I wanted to try it. It's started a little slow and the mechanics were a mess to figure out. So far the best part is the Quests.

Lol, I literally traded my physical copy of this game for a Fatal Bullet copy. I got so fed up with quests that only do dialogue, I said screw it im done. But I liked Fatal Bullet, easily played 250+ hours on it. Dont get why most people liked Hallow Realization over Fatal Bullet, FB is great.

I hate how they use the playstation button layout. Other than that this game is amazing. I wish they would port all the games (even accel world would be fun)

The reasons why today’s Anime games don’t have English voices because Bandai dropped out the R1 anime distribution industry years ago, which is where they pulled in most of their voices for the video games division. Nowadays they only dub the games that are expected to pull in a large amount of profit like anything from the Tales franchise.

I got it on sale. Happy, cuz I didn’t like this games after a few minutes. You play as Kirito only... no real customization. If I want to be a girl, I’m still called a boy and talk as Kirito... I would never pay full price for it. Also the Action button is B. And the Back button is A. This being backwards along with not being able to be my own person got me upset.
