Learn how to set up the the new Syrp App for advanced Key-framing. Covered in this tutorial is how to set up a Keyframe movement for motion time-lapse and video, changing settings like shutter signal, move-shoot-delay and Frame Rate. Also, learn how to change your ease in / ease out for ramping movement and the different movement types.
This keyframe tutorial applies to all Syrp products including Genie II Linear, Genie II Pan Tilt, Genie Mini II and older products like Genie Mini.

I've set this up according to your tutorial. I have a Genie One and and Genie Mini II set for a parallax effect. Key frame on L and P at my start point, Key frame on L and P for my end point. I start the motion and the pan does its full pan motion halfway through the move and then bounces back. When I look on the app it thinks it's all the way through the move but it's only half way. It's weird because when I use the scrubber to move the unit half way in the move it lands correctly but when I press the play or record buttons it behave like I mentioned before. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Also, I am using a 63" track.

If I’m doing a 3 hour Timelapse would there be any need to use ease in/out? Anther question is if I raise the delay a little, say from .4s to 1s would this change the original Timelapse settings, would it add to intervals?

I had spoken to one of Syrp's representatives in the spring. I was told at that time that the updated app would work with the older Syrp setup. Is this still the case? Has the new app been released? Thanks

They said (on Facebook) it will very likely support the Genie Mini some time later. But they doubt it can support the old Genie.

new app will support Genie Mini very soon and available in the next update. We are not sure about the new app working with the old Genie we need to do further work on this to investigate after Genie Mini support is released.

@@SyrpLab I have a three axis setup with the old Genies and would LOVE to have the key-framing on this. I hope it can be done with updates.

how can i control more than 3 Axis?

When I ease in/out, there is a small motor jump that is visible on the edges of frame. As it moves slower and slower the micro jumps become visible. Is there a way to smooth out the Genie Mini II as it eases in/out?

Aside from start and end, how many additional key frames can be set and are they for all 3 axis ?

Hey Avidcomp! The number of keyframes will depend on the device. For the Genie II Linear, Pan Tilt and Mini, you can set 10 key frames per axis (this includes the beginning and end keyframes). For the Genie One & Genie Mini 1, you are limited to 5
