I get that they were practicing laneswap strats cause it might be important in this tournament, but I kinda feel bad for the EST players. Very rare that they get to play against a top team on stage, and they dont even get to lane against their lane counterparts. Oh well, at least Zothve gets to say he solokilled Zeus.
Not sure why they wanted to practice the laneswap though. The Korean and Chinese teams have already shown they can beat it, so why bother? I reckon by the time we reach the main group stage laneswaps will be dead.
@@TheMidnightillusion in theory lane swaps can give some of the weaker teams a fighting chance against stronger teams, since in this meta, getting bot gapped early can pretty much end your game within the first few minutes, and lane swaps force the game to be more stable early on.
@@TheMidnightillusionit’s highly likely G2 is going to use it and GenG abused the strat against T1 in the playoffs. Maybe this is a way of discouraging it

As a latin American and a t1 fan, i knew it was going to be hard for estral. But the matches were pretty good, more fun than some LCS matches ive seen. Im impressed and satisfied with the matches regardless of the outcome
I've seen so many people saying I fear T1 will lose against top tier teams.... EST is far from a top tier team to warrant a top tier performance. Mfers were playing lethality Kalista against a Draven. You think they gave a fuck about the result of this match?
honestly wasnt expecting this from the LLA i appreciate that theyre extremely proactive unlike PSG. if PSG vs T1 they would just bleed and lose. Estral got some small leads by forcing plays. mad props
2nd game was hilarious. It was like a flex game with friends, Serial and Zeus just complete mindset of "FOR SPARTA!!!!!!!!", Zeus like the gold adc who dies to 3 enemies before realizing his support was off mid flash killing the enemy mid, oner just running around like "hey I'm here, hey I'm here, hey I'm here" and faker is like the only higher elo person in your friend group just thinking "Jesus christ what is going on. KIDS CALM DOWN"

Same, from what I understand both are international tournaments, MSI is mid season with less stakes, while worlds is an end of year thing, much more prestigious and usually has better players/performance
