Angus Clark: "It is important from the very beginning of the form to work at developing awareness. Begin this position by taking in the room, landscape or cityscape in which one is practising, and thinking about the body's place in the space it occupies. Take as long as necessary to focus fully on the present. The first step connects the body with the earth. It is followed by a sequence of movements describing a cycle that draws up and in, then returns to the earth. The movements are performed slowly and rhythmically in an unbroken flow."

Im not sure if you still read these comments, but i hope you see this one. I had your book on Tai chi in prison and thanks to your excellent instruction was able to learn the form and mentality of tai chi. I mastered it just from the book. I healed my damaged body and healed my damaged mind. Your work has had a legitimately life changing effect on me. Thank you great teacher. If there's ever anything in my power i can do for you, I'm at your service.

+Toy Moo The thing about growth is that it sometimes makes you to cringe at yourself, so in a way you're condemned to suffer one way or the other, you either remain as ignorant, judgmental, racist, conceited and aggressive as your comment presents you, or you cringe at your comment from an upper perspective. That's the importance of humor, it allows you to laugh at yourself instead of cringing and thus growth can be pleasurable. Judging by what you think "true science" is and what petty comments of enjoyment trigger your aggression, you probably have a very poor sense of humor, lacking that is often accompanied by a heightened sense of self-importance. So at least remember this: take pride in yourself if you ever come back to your comment and cringe at who you were when you wrote it, that's the only moment you'll deserve it. EDIT: Corrected wrongly formatted blank space.

Looks nothing like the first form our teacher is showing us. Hands go up along the sides, hands outward, back down, hands turn back, then the bird beak, etc. this must be a different form. Our teacher has been doing it for 60 years.
