the leg sweep has saved my ass on many occasions, you choose wether to hold them on the way down or let them splatter on the floor, personally I prefer to hold them, so they know what could have happened and also gives you the opportunity to do a ground hold, or just foot on the kneck and ask them if they really want to continue..lol ( from like 1st year Judo and street fights, not Tai Chi, which I respect equally as much. 🙏
