Thank you for this video I have suffered chronic pain and fatigue for over 30 years and although I find any exercise a challenge I will definitely keep practising these exercises and hope for an improvement in my random fybro pains!
Hello... I’m recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia and possibly chronic fatigue and I’d like a follow -along full routine I can do every day. Do you have one?
Hi Alicia, there are 2 options on the video selection for you, there is a seated version for days when you have less energy and a standing one for days that you feel more energised. I hope you manage to find local support with the new diagnosis, my clients find the support groups really helpful. Best wishes. Kate
Thanks for this video so much. I was once an apprentice teacher of a branch of Wu style with a 119-form, but I have found recent motivation to teach again for someone close to me who has fibro'. I am wondering if we could communicate about whether I could incorporate these movements into a syllabus I plan to create for them (just for variety in case other aspects of Wu prove unsuitable) or if you have any other wisdom or advice to share? Thanks again and hope you are well. :)
Hi, Thank you for watching and for your comment, I have qualified in the 18 movements of Shibashi, as shown in these videos. There are some fantastic colleges out there for learning this style of Tai Chi and therefore enabling you to teach with insurance for special conditions and working with the NHS and other health professionals. If you already have a qualification, then I shouldn't see any problem you using these movements with your friend. Hope everything goes well for both you and your friend. If you have any further queries please contact me on info@mysimplesteps.co.uk, where I will be happy to help.
