Wrong analysis ...no referring about America war mongering

The current status is that: 1) Taiwan's nation name is Republic of China, 2) The constitution of ROC and PRC all defined their territory includes Tai Wan and provinces of China mainland. So based on the constitution's definition, China mainland and Taiwan are always in the same country. If taiwan wants to change the status, the government of PRC will never let it happen.

1) In 1894, Japan invaded China and Korea, the Qing gov was defeated and signed the [Treaty of Shimonoseki] to cede Taiwan Island to Japan. 2) During the WW2, at the Cairo Conference held in 1943, China asked the transfer of Taiwan's sovereignty back to China after the war. This content was included in the [Cairo Declaration] and later reiterated in the [Potsdam Proclamation] that it should be implemented. 3) On 14 Aug 1945, the Emperor Showa of Japan issued the [End War Edict] , Japan surrendered unconditionally and accepted the [Potsdam Proclamation]. The Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces, Marshal MacArthur ordered the Japanese troops in Taiwan to surrender to KMT General Chiang Kai Shek. Taiwan re-entered the territory of the Republic Of China (ROC). 4) Soon after that China civil war broke out between KMT and CCP, the KMT was defeated and fled to Taiwan. However, due to US intervention, the CCP without a strong navy at that time has no ability to unify Taiwan. The CCP then established the People's Republic of China (PRC) on 1949. The civil war continues... 5) In 1971, UN Resolution No. 2758 ruled that the PRC had obtained the representation rights and all legal rights originally owned by the ROC in the UN. That means the PRC is China’s only legal government under international law, and today the PRC also become China’s only legal government recognized by 180 countries around the world, including the USA. "The USA recognizes the Government of the PRC as the sole legal Government of China. Within this context, the people of the USA will maintain cultural, commercial, and other unofficial relations with the people of Taiwan." Joint Cummunique on the Establishment of Diplomatic relations between the PRC and the USA (December 16 1978) 6) Therefore, according to international law, international reality, and the wishes of the 1.4 billion Chinese people, Taiwan should return to PRC.

Chinese army of the 1950s defeated both the US and United nations army in Korea. That time they were weak and poor. Imagine what can happen now. Underestimate Chinese military power at your own risk.

In the case a war happened in Taiwan, USA could participate in the war on Taiwan side but China already declared that China will fight until the end. What it mean until the end? Win and Lost? How can the super power get win or lost when they both have many nuclear weapons? Most Taiwanese people supported Pelosi's visit, strengthening ties with allies like US and Japan has been one of the key strategies, also what we want is more international support, recognition and awareness, the visit brought exactly that. We Taiwanese have been living under China's aggression for decades now, threats have never left but daily life resumes.

If this war commences, Taiwan will roll over, yes they will resist, but Taiwan's equipment is very old, and their soldiers are green. While China is getting crucial information that Russia is telling them about Modern warefare, as the Russians are currently fighting in Ukraine, Taiwan doesn't have that advantage, also their airforce, Navy, Armoured corps are extremely outdated.

I wonder if even Taiwan's president wanted Pelosi to visit them but obviously, they couldn't say no to those who they hope would protect them. It was a totally unnecessary visit. General McMaster was defending her right to visit as if it was a show of power by the US that if they want to visit somewhere no one can or should try to stop them. It would be OK if the US didn't have the reputation of abandoning its allies like the afghan women or the Kurds but they don't seem to recognise that about themselves and are not empathetic with those who fear that. Taiwan getting loads of good real time intel, more so on how their detection and missile defence system is working , in the meanwhile China is doing a good job on its neighbours, who like Putin has just made the EU and NATO much stronger, and in the case of Chinas neighbours, last year , more and more of them took part in international coalition maritime exercises as China continues to bad act in the region forcing others to seek mutual defence pacts with each other , as for any future NATO type being created in the region ??
