I believe the reason people dont change is because a lot of people just dont have a good understanding of the close relationship between happiness and actions. Instead we fly on autopilot a lot in life and we think we are doing our part in a relationship but its far from what the partner or family member needs. A successfull relationshio requires a close study of each others happiness and what it takes to achieve that. In other words, basically, you have to priporitze your partner in your everyday life.

hadn’t talked to him in a year bc he blocked me, but we split 3 years ago. i reached out to him last month and he messaged back, we were flirting and stuff but he still has a gf, the woman he cheated on me with and left me for. we talked for about a week, he started being distant and i messaged his gf telling her what happened. he found out and blocked me for about a month and now here i am, he’s spamming me with messages. i’m trying so hard not to give in because i have prayed and manifested this man for YEARS, but he did me so wrong and the fact that he has a gf but is saying these things to me and wants to see me? it makes me realize i would never be able to trust him because he could easily do the same to me.

I agree with this and sometimes I think even if someone does change they still might do the same crap with me because we bring it out of each other. Even if things are different when the same people get back together they'll have the same destination.
