Hands down the best performance of the night. Big thanks to the guy with the sign 🤘 Recorded at Sandy Amphitheater in Sandy, Utah on June 25, 2022 with a Google Pixel 6 Pro. #TakingBackSunday #concert #pixel6pro
This was the song that made me love emo, forever changed that alone love hurt into a rock your face off hurt. I am so happy that tbs happened, so I can relate.
@@TheBestAsianGamer it was at least 10 songs. I don’t remember exactly how long, but I left when they were done. I also don’t care for third eye blind and their semi charmed kind of life.
Lol. You think they actually added it in? 😂 No dude. It was part of the setlist. Guy in the crowd mentioned it right before they were going to be playing it anyway, and so Adam decided to have fun with it. He's been doing it a long time and knows all the games. That's why they already had their guitars in the correct tuning and they had Adam's board read at 3:54. They planned on playing it.
@@closinginonclosure if you look at their Summer Gods Tour set lists you’ll see that they don’t play “There’s No I in Team” in the shorter set. When they have “headlined” this summer they play it, but not when they play in front of Third Eye Blind. That night in SLC they took out “What’s it Feel Like to be Ghost” from the list and played “There’s No I in Team” for a fan.
@@GarrettMesserly Bands change their setlist from night to night all the time. TBS has done it their entire career. Just because it wasn't part of the set and a different show on tour doesn't mean they didn't add it in for this show. Explain the tuning and board.
@@closinginonclosure (1) the set list for the Summer Gods Tour has been consistent night after night, and (2) watch the first minute and a half of the video, Adam asks the guy on the board, “there’s no I in team, do you have the thing for that?” and then you see John, and others, tuning their guitars. Is it so crazy to think they added a song for a fan with a sign? vs. they randomly changed the set list (and haven’t since on the SGTour) and a fan happened to catch their attention at the exact right time, and then they acted like the weren’t planning on playing it anyway? Dude…
@@GarrettMesserly Oh you're just a guy who can't accept the possibility of being wrong about something. Funny how you also ignore the fact that they played it at other shows just days later? I'm well aware they played the same 6 songs in other cities, but like I said. It's common for bands to change songs or add a song here and there and then remove it. TBS has done it their whole career. Bands they've toured with extensively also do it. The Used for example. Add a song for just 1 show and then not play it in the next city. Regarding the things in the beginning you mentioned. Yeah guy, I watched the video. I also have working eyes and ears and a brain. Hence I saw it. I also understand that what I saw wasn't him tuning his guitar and dropping or raising it to a different key. Only minor adjustments because it was out of key from playing the previous song. Now what you see at the END of the song is full tuning for they song they'd play next. You're entitled to your opinion. If it makes you feel better to believe they just scrapped a song from their setlist to substitute it with a request from the crowd. Go ahead. I disagree. I believe that there was a reason they wanted to change the setlist and they knew it before going on. Perhaps his voice wasn't cooperating that day so he wanted to alter the set. But maybe they honestly didn't rehearse this song and were covering for potential errors made because of it. That's what I believe.
@@olivernash1751 nah he doesnt but the smoking has taken it's toll to some degree. I also feel like he sounds worse in youtube videos than he does when you're there in the crowd but maybe that's just the excitement of the moment, who knows
god damn I've seen TBS live a bunch of times but I don't think they've ever played this song at a show I went to except back when it came out originally in 2002 or 2003
TBS has been my all time favorite band since 2002 when TAYF was released.. Where You Want To Be, is and will always be my favorite all time album! They sounded good in this video but if i may.. 1) Man, they seriously need to release a New Album!! They haven't released new music since 2016.. other than a few songs (All Ready to Go, A Song For Dan, Just us Two,) etc.. 2) What happened to their Live Stage Show?!? Fred, Matt R. and Fazzi would Rock their Asses off!! Even while singing the 2nd Vocal part.. Would it Kill, John and Shaun to move?? Lol the only one that Rocks out other than Adam still awesomely swinging the mic, is Nathan!! Wish theyd make him a "Official Member" of the band.. 🤘
I don't have a setlist, sorry. I uploaded Cute Without the E last night as well and I think I have one more full song I recorded that I'll try to upload tonight.
I was actually at this show too it was amazing, here is the set list although not in exact order ❤️ There’s no I in team Cute without the E Liar liar Tidal Wave You’re so last summer Flicker Fade Timberwolves at New Jersey A Decade under the influence Better homes and gardens Make Damn Sure
i ve seen them 40 times and it litteraly depends what band you get that day. This wasnt even bad. The whole venue sound system or the camera is awful the guitars sound like shit.
Saw them live a few years ago.. was so excited until they were incredibly terrible sounding live. The sound was just way over loud until it was just a noisy mess of noise soup. Unfortunate because I loved their old stuff... need better sound crew maybe?
More like 2.6. I legit think I could sing this better than him. Taking Back Sunday has written some great songs, but let’s be honest: they’re a studio band.
Many commenters points out Adam's voice It's not that Adam voice is not good anymore. He purposedly let lose like that to match his age. He's not 18, just like them who aged they have to match their music to them. We saw them at New Jersey live performed in a friends bar last week. He just sing without the weird movements and mike swing. And he is awesome. I think He don't do that in Concerts and live performance with large crowd because he established himself hyped as a frontman. It's about how people and your band mates see your energy. And to be honest. TBS is always about the feeling of the songs. As they always are.
correct. He litteraly wrote a song about that. S'old.. I cant believe the amount of hate towards Adam in this thread. Like why the fuck are these fat little trolls even in here.
@@commodore6430 My comment has EVERYTHING to do with Brand New and TBS. And I’m the one who’s suppose to be “19”. Cute how you think I name dropped though, AND you think Brand New is a “hip indie band”. 😂
He left the band a few years ago. I got to meet him briefly after a show in 2014. Way chill dude. www.altpress.com/eddie-reyes-tbs-fates-got-a-driver-interview/
Maybe if this guy took care of himself/voice at all ever and didn’t just booze and blow croke up his snorkel he would still be able to sing….. I saw him at 10am randomly in union square nyc back in April walking with a cased acoustic and a rolling suitcase, looking as hungover and awful as he could possibly look, true hungover not just a few drinks, whatever each theys own, but makes total sense why he can’t sing and lost it forever ago
@@azaze88 Yeah, but their is a difference between Eric Clapton performing at 70 years old then someone like Taking Back Sunday. Performing at this age with the same music that let's be honest.. it isn't music that will stand the test of time.
