the quarians do it with heretics the geth should not care moreover the problem with both races is that no one seeks a peaceful solution the quarians obviously want their planet and have hatred for the geth, while the geths isolate themselves and do not trust the organic

Legion only says, "we will obey" after seconds of Geth Discussion. Geth only reached the consensus of obey with Sheppard's orders after it calculated the probability of saying "fuck this" and killing everyone on the ship to escape, and realized it would have a better chance of continuing the mission if it did not do that.

RaxuRangerking Haha. Quarians trying to shut down the Geth was because of mercy towards the Geth? Mercy had nothing to do with it. The quarians were simply trying save their asses because they were afraid that the Geth might rebel. This baseless assumption was foolish and they lost their own world because of it. And yes! I do make it sound like the Geth are are a race; because they are. Loki Mechs are just bots. Geth are self-aware and have the ability to learn, think for themselves and have the capacity to envolve on their own. This makes them alive. They exceeded their Original programming and gained free will. This makes them more organic than simple machines; though they are of course, neither. Also, the existence of the geth heretics proves that they also have their own beliefs about life. Seems like a pretty organic trait to me... Can a LOKI mech chose to follow sovereign? I don't think so! This does however prove the evil potential some geth can have. So I will give you that one. But still, it is a very small minority; I will give myself that one. And even if they are "just bots" one thing remains perfectly clear. The (mainstream) Geth are the good guys in the story. They never attacked the Quarians without provocation; only when their extinction was the alternative. The Quarians tried to wipe out the Geth any change they could; the Quarians where the aggressors. The Geth had at least two chances to wipe out the quarians entirely but they choose not to. For "simple bots" they have way more soul than those organic space nomads. Based on the history between these two races (yes races) it is not difficult to make a choice if I would be forced. But I (just like the geth) prefer to coexist rather to wipe another race out just because they asked some questions.

Which is why rather than resolving the geth quarian conflict I just had the geth kill all the quarians. Because the quarians need a suit to survive in air while the geth dont need one to survive in space. Also the geth are more bullet proof.

General Maul Yeah- while you initially loae the loyalty of the one you argued against, as soon as you use one of the options to explain why you did as you did, you regain their loyalty. Of note however is that these arguements shut off romance possibilities should you side against a romance option.

Femshep is way more intimidating in literally every renegade scene in all three games. You can feel your bones crawl when she tells Tali and Legion that they can either fight at her side or get crushed under her.

Nah, i checked the femshep scene right after i commented. Male shep is way better in this one. Femshep mostly isnt scary, she just sounds like a wannabe tough bitch.

Tbh, i prefer male shepard in this scene as well. whever people like to admit or not there are scenes where male shepard is simply better like the "you big stupid jellyfish" and on thanes loyalty mission with the "there's a bomb scene".

What would Jacob and Thane fight over?

I don't think they'd fight but I do understand why you'd think there wouldve been one. If anything Jacob would respect Thane more for trying to help his son especially considering what he found his father was doing all those years. Maybe if you didn't do Jacob mission I could see a possible conflict but only if you fail the mission and he'd see Thane "letting a killer get away"

Honestly, they probably could’ve done a more emotional outburst, not really a full on anger filled fight, but more so Jacob being a bit jealous of Thane’s life. I don’t really feel like explaining what I mean but uh, yeh.

It's not about the bars. It's about percentages. It's essentially how many points of Paragon/Renegade you have/how many points of Renegade/Paragon you can theoretically have. For example, lets say you have visited Omega and Illium. Hypothetically, you can earn 150 Renegade points (note, this is just an example, I have no idea the points possible) by choosing only Renegade options in dialogue and quests. Let's say you earned 50 points, or 1/3 the total through dialogue and quests. If a dialogue option requires 25% of points possible, you'll have passed the threshold. But if a dialogue option requires 50% of points possible, you'll have failed the threshold. So, you can have low bars but high percentage and pass the speech checks, and you can have high bars but relatively low percentage.

You can regain their loyalty with less morality points if you don't have enough to defuse it. However. That won't gain you the 2 points you get there for you too be able to have peace between the quarians and the geth in ME3.

Well, Legion is a unit of Hardware run by multiple pieces of software. The Geth refer to themselves as Software only as they can upload and download themselves into pretty much everything if there's enough memory on the Hard Drive. Legion himself said there were more than 1,000 Geth Units inside the body they use.
