Talking Command & Conquer Remastered with Frank Klepacki! (Part 1/2) 

Thank you for being a large part of my childhood Frank :D

The son of Tiberium has graced us with his presence.

His work was a large part of my life i still play the C&C games & Dune 2000 at least once a year but i also want to give him a big thank you for Star Wars Empire at War another great game i still play. So thank you Frank.

Whenever Frank says “I’ve got a ...“, I always felt that the next words should be “...present for you”

Imagine growing up with C&C games and then having Frank on your YT channel years later. Who would thought that might happen?

As someone who's been around the music industry myself, this man is an underrated musical genius. He definitely deserves sooo much more credit for his talent. Can't wait to hear these tunes once again when I play C&C remastered.

I bought C&C TFD based solely on his music ALONE. He brewed my love for industrial and video game music, I'd love to see what him and David Bergeaud could make if they collaborated!

I play the C&C tracks when working out. The weird sense of nostalgia and, quite frankly, great rhythm (?) on tracks like Mechanical Man and Act on Instinct help me get through something I absolutely detest doing (but know I must).

Anything includes C&C and Frank Klepacki, I like it

My favourite composer of all time. C&C Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert and its soundtracks is my childhood. I cant believe it, i started playing command & conquer in 1996 at age 6! Im still not tired of it and the music. C&C and Doom in my book are one of few games that just never grow old.

This really awesome interview Zade. As far as I'm concerned Frank is a legend that directly influenced taste in game soundtracks. And with all the extra/bonus content coming on the physical/special editions of the remaster I'm super stoked for the audio alone, nevermind we're getting cnc remastered (I still feel like it's a twilight zone episode or something lol)

Frank is like The Marty O Donnell of Halo. He made my childhood awesome through his music. Also, both are still active

I think you should make interviewing 'industry greats' 1-on-1 your whole thing. Somebody needs to do it and you're good at it. You ask the right questions, you have the right composure and are respectful. No memes. Just that juicy insight that so many of us really hardcore video game fans crave when it comes to our beloved titles. Up to you but it could be a big thing ya know.

One night I got super drunk and asked Frank over facebook out of the blue to name my pigeon (pigeon was a rescue from a few days prior) and Frank came up with "Lucky". Man is a godsend, despite me being drunk as hell and incomprehensible, frank was still cool with me and and gave my pidge a name. Been a long time C&C fan and frank replying to me was prolly one of the best things ever.

Frank is the man. I can't wait for next month I'm incredibly excited!

That man is absolutely AWESOME He created awesome soundtracks in an unbelievable way and for sure he didn't made it through the hands in the first time but through the technology that can put multi sounds with high and low lvls of awesomeness absolutely PHENOMENON

Well, I am still using old approach to remake tracks from Frank Klepacki, you can check my stuff on RU-vid and so on. But, if to say honestly, Frank always uses the best approach, without losing of quality and groove, and tries to speed up the process. For me, remaking of his tracks looks more like I gonna teach myself some music creation, you know, but I also switch to other projects, like programming, drawing, own melodies, and other stuff. So, I agree with anything that Frank said here, and I personally like this interview! I added this to our public playlist which I showed to maestro as well, thank you for video :)

Great interview! Frank more or less wrote the soundtrack to my early 20s...I wore out multiple CD drives playing Red Alert 2...so am so super-stoked for the remaster. I hope he and the Sons end up playing Magfest again in the future...I wasn't able to go, and have been kicking myself ever since.

My favorite video game music artist! BTW, I like your solo albums. Infiltrator and Rocktronic are my faves. I would buy them on vinyl in an instant!

Such an all-round awesome guy! When I was just a kid I sent him a fan email with a shitty cover of Hell March I did, he replied immediately with a ton of praise and that really gave me a confidence boost which got me to learn music properly! The soundtrack to C&C and RA shaped my interest in music! Thanks Mr K! You're one of my heroes!

Can't wait to hear this all new music that he did. I have all music to all C&C. And this new music will be in my collection. Also in the end of this year will be a shooter Tiberian Sun X from Totem Arts, where will be new versions of all tracks of C&C 2 Tiberian Sun/Firestorm))

I know I'm living in the past musically but how awesome would it be to get a remaster using the old synthesizer technology such as JD-990 etc... :)
