In this video, we take a look at the first EV offering from Kia in India, the EV6. This car is Kia's most expensive offering in the country and aims to create a new segment in Evs. How is it on the road? Do watch our review to find out.
The micro science corner where Vivek introduces braking feel and the motor behind it, switching between frictional and regen; such research and intelligence in journalism is what sets this channel apart from the rest of the noise!
Evolution of hyundai and kia should be a study material for everyone. From a brand that made rebadged mitsubishis in 80s and still a unknown brand for many in the 90s(till late 90s),they have come a long way that now they have a dedicated premium brand,a sport division, different powertrains ,market specific vehicles and futuristic vehicles with designs that challenge europeans..Curious case of evolution..
Couldn’t agree more bro. I never thought I would buy a Hyundai ever when my dad owned a Verna. Except for the rocket like 1.5 L VGT diesel…there was little else to like about that car. But today that’s not the case. I put down hard earned money for a diesel Hyundai in which the engine is definitively a highlight but nothing much else to complain about.
Thank you for posting. Couldn’t watch it as I was listening while driving though had some glimpses of the vehicle while on red signals. Might never be able to buy one. Yet loved the inputs. Shall “watch” it at bedtime again. That makes Saturday complete 😍
Just took delivery of the Kia EV6 AWD on Nov 3rd. Absolutely in love with it so far!! Was eagerly(read nervously!! )awaiting to hear what JD and Vivekji had to say about it....
@@aneezsha Have been driving automatic shift for about 10 years now, so didn't make much of a difference as you just put it on 'D' and move. Yes first two days you do feel a bit different but easily get used to it.
@@ajikoikal1 Purely on size, this is really huge and you will only notice the size once u see and sit inside it. It is what my family wanted. Also I liked the interiors and how eye catching this was ( of course purely personal opinion and varies for each individual).
@@adarshadhu265 but we have some true to the core enthusiasts rather than mass fan following. Comment box thanne onn nokku no unwanted, cheesy, cringy comments Like "x nte fans like adi.. Y nte fans comment cheyy.. Z nte turu fens undo". ith onnum illa. Just pure enthusiasm.
Superb presentation, Am I the only one who saw the "E.T. the extra-terrestrial" (front seat) inside the ev 6 ?🤣 It's a great car, though I prefer the ioniq 6 over ev6 for the looks.
Hybrids?? It’s already outdated! Just because toyota bringing up hybrids only now doesn’t mean that hybrids are the future. Tesla taking over all over North America and every manufacturers are launching new EV’s. If toyota fall behind in EV’s they are done.
@Jalex, Hybrids have no future and will be banned from 2035 in western world. Toyota will be ruined like Kodak and Nokia, if they don't pull their socks up and divert from hybrids and hydrogen.
I think that dilemma caused the reduced numbers of EV6 bookings, even though bookings exceeded 300+. Some pep thought that why would I buy Koreans when we have i4 at the same price bracket. Purely my thought.
