Just putting that azarashi shell on it with that paint job makes that car 10x above all the others 201 I have seen. So nice to see something a bit different. If I see another 201 With a plain white shell I could not be less interested. Maybe some trf big bores would be the cherry on the cake?

I also wanted to put on your radar if you haven’t already thought about it, but have you thought about purchasing and reviewing the TT-02BR? Your TT-02B series is my favorite and your videos were a big reason on buying one.

Looks superb Glenn, I really like that Canyk body. I have the XR / XM parts but I'm not going to put it on my 201 because like you I think it just looks so good stock, I'm looking for a donor car. I'd quite like to see the XR as a separate build, maybe with the XR/XM body and then the XM parts with the phantom body. I guess the exotek 8mm and the XR will be pretty close wheelbase wise so that would be an interesting comparison too. Looking fwd to the next installment, I wonder if you could cover the 201s timeline as I find it pretty confusing. I think you need an XR kit to make an XM but the XM seems to have come out first. I'm guessing the XMW came out as a complete car first and then they produced the conversion later to give XR owners an upgrade path.

I think you should have a normal 201 and an XM version and a xr version.

I’m with you cutting the wing around the rear shocks wouldn’t look right at all I’m assuming there’s no way to move the mounts back instead? as you noted cutting those new holes isn’t ideal functionally but it’s fine for display purposes also this is why I don’t paint my wings on my race buggies 😝 I miss racing rear motor buggies on actual dirt that Exotek extension adding more rear weight to a rear motor buggy definitely wouldn’t be ideal currently 2wd buggies have so much forward weight bias it’s ridiculous but that’s what’s needed for carpet/Astro and hard packed clay

I wanted to buy an xr conversion for mine, one place had like 15 in stock, but they all went out in less than a month :/ I just wanted one ! I can’t afford scalped prices :(
