Tamiya TT01 suspension slop/play FIX. 

I was skeptical at first , thinking shims would be better , however I see the benefit of adjustability in this so I am convert and that's not easy to do . Bravo .

Very nice job... sometimes I just made an "insert" of a small peace of "carton paper" , on internal arms holes of chassis , and fix kite well to !!!

The shims work well and is fairly easy to do. However, I really like how adjustable the screws are. You can really tune your suspension without taking things apart .

Yes a spacer would work, however this is adjustable and much more precise.

well i used some PTFE teflon tape on my TT01, same results

I fully understand all of that. I just think its a wrong name for it as Counter steer is the action of steering in the direction your sliding in and that is obviously called Drifting. This has nothing to do (technically speaking) with overdriving the rear vs the front. I find it funny how these terms are chosen by the masses(SHEEP) because one person called it that who seemed to know what they were talking about. Thanks for the info about the "Overdrive" options for the TT

thick grease in the pivot holes and a shim = done with no tools and less time without altering anything to the chassis ...

@papabeeh The Set screws are quite tight. I was going to tap it first but simply using the screw to create the threads was way better. Otherwise there is always thread lock. And when the table wears in more, simply readjust.

Well!!! Mine is completely converted to carbon fiber with fully adjustable suspension. So yes I like it a lot. As a stock kit it is good and very durable. I actually have a complete one for sale if you are interested. Send me a private message if you want to see it.

It's called "counter steer"because you have to "countersteer"more, depending on the cs ratio you run. Depending on your experience, you may cope with cs, or may find 50/50 fine, but cs is a different driving style. And TT01 has cs options, 1.44, 1.5, or 2.0 all from active hobby.

@papabeeh There are 2 sizes since the lower holes are smaller. Technically I am selling  the screw kits and giving away the sizes would be counter productive.

It is possible that they can be longer. Look up different releases of the TT01 chassis and figure out which body might have longer body mounts.

Billy C. LeWorth you have a tt01 aswell? Im just going to convert mine, and add spacers where the parts tend to wiggle.

Two reasons... 1- It will not fit unless you do 2- It allows you to adjust the tension.

I am guessing you installed the screws in. if so just loosen them bit by bit until the suspension moves properly.

They are called chub screws and can be bought from any hard wear store!!!

I think he means grub screws. you would just need grub screws that are pretty much slightly larger than the hole wouldn't you? That way they would fit snugly, and would not fall out.

Hey. I run full alloy from yeah racing and they come with washers that keep it from having slop. Cant you just add them so that they dont wiggle? Thanks

The yeah racing system is different than original and I guess you can probably insert washers but you will always a little movement. This way they is NO MORE play . takes away 99% of it.

Rear body arms (the arms you put your body on) look a bit longer than stock. Is it true? looking forward lifting my BMW M3 E30 body to use offroad tyres on the chassis. But I am new in this whole RC thing so not sure how to properly do it. Did you buy custom arms? Ev.

Don't think we can do Countersteer on a TT-01. And honestly I don't understand why they call it Countersteer. The definition of Countersteer is when you steer in the opposite direction that you are moving. It should be called hardtosteer as its more difficult to drive. lol
