What I appreciate about your style is that even the simplest things are well-thought-out. Thanks for sharing!

Ha. Thanks. But the thing is, something you make a video for _has_ to end up being thought out, because you actually think about the idea multiple times: first in your head, next in real life, then through a lens, again another ten times during edit, and finally on the published video. You might not believe this, but after all of that, sometimes I _still_ forget to apply tricks like these! I've actually had my wife remind me before that I can do something I made a video about.

Good trick! And I appreciate you took the time to divide the video in so many chapters. Makes it real easy to find and re-watch crucial information 😁

Doing the same for years.Nothing new, but happy to give you an additional view AND comment. Non viewers are not knowing what they are missing 😊 By the way, I almost finished my iso-path build ❤

This is a thing we used to *insist* upon for backpack straps and all kinds of other straps like this for things. It's these little bits of attention to the details that really just show how much somebody cares about what they're doing, but not everybody gets taught how to do it, or even that it's an option! Kudos to you for bringing it to the masses.

That is exactly how this came about. It's a must for my backpack. Should've shown it in video. Thanks.

@@pocket83squared I've been meaning to mention: those Lincoln Logs I made all those years ago when I was teaching classes about it have still held up, and my own kids (I wasn't even married when I did that) still play with 'em. You really knocked it out of the park by sorting out the order of operations for that whole process.

How you manage to come up with as many (actually useful) tips as the average “hacks” channel always baffles me. Thanks

Perfect! I may have done something similar, but have forgotten about it. I'm getting a new respirator (I know, not about the respirator), but it may come in handy then, so thanks for the reminder!

Cool 😎 idea 💡. I like to use velcro stripps, it allso works for wire management to.

Thanks for the tip I recently made some golf balls screwdrivers like you've shown, and I absolutely love them. I cut the shank off the bit-holder to make them even smaller tho. Really useful when you need a stubby screwdriver for torx or square head or something
@pocket83squared
@pocket83squared 5 дней назад
Recently I've been unable to find bit-holders. They're all really long now and super expensive. I miss the old simple, short, DeWalt ones. They were like .99 and everywhere in a bulk bin. Current flation prices are demanding 7.99 for a packaged one, but I'll hold out; in fact, I'd use my teeth first.

Instructions unclear, I learned something therefore irreparably changing the course or my future life. 😂 Really elegant solution for a problem that I'm sure that everyone (well, everyone that doesn't think they're ##tougher and manlier## than silicosis) has faced and just awkwardly jammed the straps under each other. Thanks for the upload! Feels like a while since I've seen you talk about your game ideas - are you still playing the stacking hex one? It was a gorgeous project!

If i ever need to do this, I'll probably use double-sided velcro, the kind used for bundling cable.

The visual illustration is very helpful to me here. I'm so prone to useless "optimization" that my first thought was, how do you ensure that you completely cover the sticky outside tape without measuring as you cut it in half, but it appears that's not really a concern. Thanks!

It's sorta crazy that I have to attach that proviso to it just to be honest. It's now quietly assumed that every idea posted is either a GAME CHANGER or THEY SAID IT COULDN'T BE DONE!!! Truth is, the trick is only barely worth sitting through a 15 second ad for. Hey, I do my best.
