Had to upgrade my power a little more. The deaf bonce apocalypse aak 7500.1d is a good amp! And powerful! But I needed a little bit more! So went out and got the Taramps Bass 15k! And I freaking love it! Sundown show is this weekend! Hope to see you all there! But no matter what I'll get plenty of demo videos for you guy's! Nice! Taramps has come a long way, since they first hit the scene in the USA. They are decent with warranty claims too, if you happen to have any issues. I moved over to Taramps myself almost 2 years ago, way more efficient then my Sundown SCV 4ks and a fraction of the cost. EDIT: I replaced the fans in my taramps amps, with Noctua fans, reduced the fan noise by quite a bit with more cfm. Bass on fellow basshead! Cheers.

Can I ask you a question... my smart bass 5k warranty is up soon so I wanted to replace fans too. What exact ones do I need?

@@1ohmwrecker I swapped them in a different Taramps, but I think they use the same fans in all their amps. I used Noctua NF-A4x20 5v, premium fans Amazon sells them for $14.95 Noctua NF-A4x20 5V, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin, 5V Version (40x20mm, Brown) is how it's listed in Amazon. To make sure the fan leads are still 5v volts on the Smart 5k, I'd run a multimeter off the fan leads on your amp to read the voltage. If it read 12 volts get the 12 volt version. Same size (40mmx20mm)

@@Joe_1776 I'm pretty sure they're 5v, but I'll check. On Amazon there's only ugly brown ones, but whatever. The fan runs at 3 different levels I think, so will these do the same? And I greatly appreciate ur help man!

it seems alot more powerful mad flexin!!!i have a smart 5 bass on my x 15s, i had rca issues after 10 months they warranty sent out 3 weeks its back and working perfect, there awsome amps!, good customer service, i buy from resilient sounds.. great people kick ass subs too

I've owned 8 Taramps amplifiers and never had any problems. Except for the fans. But easy to upgrade fans

Ok good to know. I just picked it up on the fly. I needed more power quick. But eventually want Korean amps. I would have ran the Deaf bonce apocalypse aak 7500.1d if I had 1 more. It's a solid amp. Just need more power. But I do like the bass 15k! I might check out a couple of those acoustics amps 👍😁💯

Nice sir. I met you at sundown show last year. I had the 6 skar 15s on two of those 15ks. Yeah I agree those dual inputs adapters are close on them bass 15ks. Good job sir.

Could i use 15k on 6 4 ohm 15 skar vxf or should I use 1 5k or 8k on each 2 subs?

@@jameselliott3092 1 15k wouid give you a 1.2 ohms at the amp for 6-D4 subs. Very efficient and dynamic head room

I have 2 Sundown Xv2 15's in a 4th order. Wired in parallel to 1ohm. 144 ah C-Max lithium bank JS 250 alt with upgraded voltage regulator to 15.5 all 0 gage welding cable wire for power. Mmats 6 channel for mids and highs. 6.5 skar component speakers in the front doors. 4 ds18 tweeters behind the seat and 2 ds18 8s behind the seat. Pioneer head unit I also have a 4 channel line out converter behind the head unit. Oh and Sky high Bassknob 👍😎💯

@@bassjunkie2020 for sure man, have fun! I wish so bad I could go, just don't have it in me to drive 8hrs each way. Plus coming from slam I blew a back tire and had to get it towed 250 miles back home. If I didn't have AAA, it woulda costed $1200 lol🤦‍♂️ so I'd have to put my factory rims back on and all that too to cuz its unreliable making the trip on rubber band tires on the 20s🤦‍♂️

Hey bro make sure you're input adapters are in far enough for the setscrews to make contact, alot of the adapters are too short for the bass line ..Illcustomzs make a longer version for taramps

Quick question. I just got my 15K and I noticed on the inputs, 1 says input but the other says thru out. Are both of these inputs?

No one is for input other is out for separate amp signal. You can use a Y splitter 👍

It looks like you have both rcas hooked to the 15k. One is input the other is output. It can mess it up if you have them both rcas from your sub output of your deck going into the amp

I know they say that. But I've had a bunch of Taramps amps. And they all are like that. I ask a guy from Taramps from Brazil about it. He used to send me tons of Taramps decals! Anyway he said you can still hook up both rcas. So I don't know. I've never had any problems. Maybe I'll ask again and see if anything has changed?

@@bassjunkie2020 I've seen some people go through issues over the years you're not supposed to hook up output to output or input to input I remember running shit in my recording studio and I ran into issues myself I also saw a video not too long ago on RU-vid and another guy explains about it that repairs amps his name on RU-vid is barevids.

@@tommymartini34 oh I watch Sam. And I seen the video where he says it isn't good. But I think Taramps said they way they have it can be used as both. I'll definitely look more into it. I used to used Y splitters to only run one input. When I had the 3ks. I still have a bunch of them. But thank's for the information 👍

How did u set your gains on this amp im about to swap my bass 8k for the 15k i know my woofers can take way more power

I used my multimeter. Power times resistance 15000 X 1ohm = 15000 So square root of 15k is 122.47 So you got that much room to play with. I was able to turn it past the 122. I was able to set it at 134 before it clips. But I turned it back to 122 just to be safe. Hope this helps 👍😎💯

How does this bass series'compare to the MD series you had before? Does it have better low ends and is it more efficient?

i think the md the low pass crossover only goes down to like 80hz while the bass goes to 50-60hz

@@NickMillerlouisiana yeah your right! Md only goes down to 80. The Bass 60. Plus the md can only go up to 16 volts. The bass can go up to 17 volts. The md can only wire to 1 ohm. The bass can do .5 So a lot of good things about the bass! The only thing the md had over the bass is the ratings. The md is rated at 12.6 volts. The bass 14.4 So if you don't have the best electrical. Go with the md👍😎💯

Bro your the perfect person to ask. Is the teramps worth the money do they produce good sound? Between the deaf bonce 7500 and the sundown 6k amp what would you say about all 3 amps. Yes the teramps may have more power but I'm concerned about longevity dependability. Teramps are so much cheaper than the other brands but I'm concerned as to why that is. There has to be a trade off.

I've never had any problems with Taramps. Except for the fans. Actually I've had more problems from big Korean boards. But the Koreans do sound good and are built well. Really both are good if you feed them good electrical 👍

I have a 8k taramps and it really doesn't suck a lot of current compared to those big Korean amplifiers? I have two jp23 amplifiers and the voltage goes down to 13.9 but the taramps stays at 14.6 volts?

I have a good electric system 3 2400 power cells and 1 1200 power cell in the back one up front to start the vehicle and a 370 amp alternator? The Korean amplifiers are made to go below impedance? Which means more current is going to drawn? TARAMPS ARE RATED AT 12.6 VOLTS LIKE THE OLD SCHOOL AMPLIFIERS? THE DIFFERENCE IS TARAMPS LIKE BATERRY VOLTAGE AND NOT ALTERNATOR VOLTAGE? KOREAN LIKE ALTERNATOR VOLTAGE AND NOT BATTERY VOLTAGE I WILL STICK WITH THE BRAZILIAN CIRCUIT BOARDS?
