I've been wating for this review. Thanks a lot Darren 👏 I'm a big Barney Fan and even met him recently 😃 Thiking about to buy these darts, they are looking really great and i like scallops but i'm a midgripper. Maybe I buy them only as a collectors set because till now I don't have any Target Dart from Barney. Only the Unicorn Phase 4 and 5. What do you think is the best Target Dart from van Barneveld for a midgripper and which one is the best looking for collecting? 🤩

Thanks Dan! I think all the Target Barney darts are a front weighted style except for the RVB80 Black, which may be better for a mid grip, but if you are happy with a front weighted dart then any of the others should work just depends how much grip you need as some are more grippy than others. As for the looks I like the look of the Gen 4 best :)

Thanks mate 👍 might be the dimensions fit better with a 80% tungsten barrel so less wastage when machining or maybe they just wanted a slightly cheaper option for a 80% range?

Yeah the Target black is more of a dark grey, always seems to have been like that, but it looks darker in person than on the video as my strong studio lights kind of wash the colour our a little :) Cheers! :)

Hi darts review. Off the direct subject. I just got a digital scale. It's my new toy. So, I weighed all 7 sets of my target darts. My SP01 22 gram set was .08gm off, as was a new set of Echo 12's. I resolved the Echos with A to Z/Magic Darts. But I also weighed my 20 gram Agoras. They were a Whopping .16 grams off. I emailed "Rosie" at Target and got nothing but the run-a-round. They want me to take those back to the shop and resolve it there, but the guarantee is with Target! They wont warranty the SP01's either. Is there a way I could email you the whole monstrous discourse? You might find it amusing how Target will waste so much time ,effort, and money to keep from replacing a couple of barrels. Hi mate, its funny as I often get a lot of stick from people saying why do I weigh the darts as it does not matter, well in a way yes it wont matter that much unless its around half a gram as not many would be able to tell the difference, but the whole point of me weighing them is to check the quality control and see how closely they match the stated box weight and also the brands disclaimer of a weight match tolerance of +/ 0.05g or 0.10g. A lot of people myself including may not even be able to tell a 1g difference but as I say that is not the point. I think since Target came out with their Swiss point system a lot of their darts have not been as well matched as in the past. The other problem is also how they interpret the disclaimer, that has caused much debate in the forum over the years. For me I take it as meaning if the box says +/- 0.05g then all three barrels should be within 0.05g of each other. If they are not then thats not sticking to the weight guarantee as you say. Then I think the problem is proving it to them and if they accept your scales as been as accurate as theirs, which they could use as an excuse to get out of it. I personal think regardless of how accurate the scales are they would still show the same weight discrepancy between all barrels, I could be wrong but I have weighed lots of them know and have a 100g weight to calibrate my scales with. Not sure what you can do to get them to agree to what their guarantee says, but if you want to email me the details of what happened you can find my email in my RU-vid about tab :)

You can just use some tungsten putty to even out the weight of your darts. It's very easy to do since you already have a digital scale. That's what i did with all my darts.
