Seems like you have given really good tips here. Could you also make similar videos in english so that people who don't understand Kannada also get to cook this amazing food? Also, you have a great voice, are you from South Karnataka? Mangaluru?
some of the reasons Idli getting hard - 1. urad dal is old and not rise up properly 2. fine rice grinding or big rice granules 3. idli batter is thick (not enough water) 4. cook idli with cooker whistle
