It sure saves us having to test out multiple variations of recipes before getting the best end result. 🙏 I’m especially thankful as my daughter is Celiac and developed debilitating health effects when she eats gluten. We started an annual tea party last summer that includes her close gal pals, their daughters and me. (We “clutch our pearls” in jest at times during the tea 😂.) I’ve been making this recipe for years, not gluten free, & it’s wonderful not to add butter, just the cream or even yogurt works or a mix of milk & cream, but they are best eaten on the day of baking , I love them straight out the oven with some butter, oh & I don’t add the sugar as there is enough sugar in the jam if using it 😋
