If you grew up in the 80's and was a fan of RC, then I don't have to tell you about the most dominate RC car of it's time. The Team Associated RC10 was a true legend in RC cars. When I was a kid it was the second RC that I owned. My first RC was a Tamiya Hornet. Everything about the RC10 was just awesome, from it's looks to the speed, durability and handling. In this video I pay tribute to the Original RC10 with my re-release RC10 Classic.

What color was this painted? I dont like the camel yellow but this thing is much more prettier than the box art!

My brother's original RC10 obsoleted the rest of his cars. What a legend.

I just bought one off eBay, that's still factory sealed. It cost a pretty big $1,500 chunk from my checking account, but the other one's I saw on eBay were much more, so I guess I got a fairly decent deal, and it was the last one from that seller. I've been wanting one of these since I was a teenager, but never had the funds to buy one, so I had to just settle with having fantasies of myself racing one at any of the local tracks near me. While not the original vintage RC10, it's close enough, just like my reissued Tamiya Hornet, which I have a lot of fun with. My question is will the re-issued RC10 Classic be able to handle a brushless motor, and a 2s lipo combo. I would never think of using that with the Hornet, as the Hornet is mostly plastic from the chassis, and suspension, to the gear box, but with the RC10 having an aluminum chassis, composite suspension components, and metal drive train, I'm wondering if it's sturdy enough to handle some very light bashing, with a brushless/lipo combo. Because of how expensive this model is, and it's rarity, I won't run it hard like I run my Losi Lasernut, as it's not built for that kind of bashing.

Nice man! Yeah, they designed the re-release so it is able to handle brushless motors and fits lipo packs as well

@@theRCelement That's great. I plan on using a Horizon Hobbies brushless motor, and smart ESC battery system. This is what my Losi Lasernut came with, and I love it. Everything is pretty much plug, and play, and is very user friendly.
