In my opinion, Silver's new voice actor Bryce Papenbrook did a very great job with his voice. Bryce actually did made Silver's voice sound like a 14 year old, which that's what Silver's age is. All that I heard from Silver's voice sounded like Adrien Agreste/Cat Noir from Miraculous Ladybug, Kirito from Sword Art Online, Eren Jaeger from Attack On Titan, Yo Shindo from My Hero Academia, Meliodas and Zeldris from The Seven Deadly Sins, Rin from Blue Exorcist, Buck from Pokemon Generations, Iekda from Assassination Classroom, Inky from Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, Red from Pokemon Origins, and Brick Rowdyruff from Powerpuff Girls Z. To be honest here, Silver is still one of my most favorite characters in the Sonic franchise, Silver really needs some love from his character development and his backstory. Silver is just too pure and innocent but he can sometimes be serious when he feels something bad or something that would happen in the future. I do like Silver's previous voice actors but I do think that Bryce Papenbrook suits Silver so well.

I didn't know Silver had the same voice as Adrien Agreste/Cat Noir, Makoto Naegi, and Nagito Komaeda, but now that I know I can't unhear it. Though I mainly hear Cat Noir.
The voice fits him really well since he's 14, and I think people have adjusted to Thornton Shadow. But Sonic is only 15, and sounds like a surfer bro. Friendly reminder that Vector is the oldest animal character behind Shadow at 20.

Why do people dislike Silver's voice in TSR? His voice in previous games definitely suits him, they all have the same tone. Yeah this one is different, but personally I think it suits him in the current state of his character. It's not explicitly implied that he's coming back from his bad future, he's just a time traveller really. No, I don't like that about his character nowadays, but if that's the way they want to go, this really suits Silver if all he is right now is an optimistic 14 year old from the non-descript future.

The same person, who played a emo swordsman gamer, and a angry screaming titan, is now voicing a sweet adorable character like silver!! That's amazing. He went from saying ILL SEE YOU IN HELLLL, and ILL KILL THEM, EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM to saying boiinng. Truely beautiful
Neat how his VA in the past reflected how serious the situations of the time were, but now that this isn’t as serious and he has a new VA, he’s… just so… *innocent*
I have a few things to say. 1. Silver, you absolute lovable dork 2. This kid's trash talk. It's a combination of "yeah I'm new to trash talking" and "I'm just gonna playfully bully the shit out of everyone" 3. Every time he mentions something about his future being bad (whether presently or previously; if TSR follows the IDW canon then it'd be his previously bad future) it hurts a little. 4. His self talk. "Stupid, Silver, stupid!" 5. Bryce sounds like he had _so much fun_ doing these voice clips. How he said "There goes my lunch!" and "That paint job is just wrong!" are really telling of this imo. He sounded like he was genuinely enjoying it, and that's one of the things that makes someone's voice acting good and engaging. If it sounds like the actor is having fun, it makes the quality of the media so much better. This is one of the reasons I love Boom Eggman so much. You can tell Mike Pollock had heaps of fun doing the voice lines for Boom Eggman. This is also one of the reasons I believe the Twitter Takeovers did so well. Mike, Roger, Kirk, and Colleen were enjoying it, and that made it more engaging for the audience, prompting more people to submit questions. Overall you can just tell when someone is or isn't having fun doing voice acting, and Bryce definitely sounds like he had loads of fun doing Silver's voice.
This is the kind of confidence I want the devs to give silver more often it’s so nice to see him speak up and even use a bit of trash talk even if it ain’t is from behind the wheel I want to see this side of him in the future in whatever game he’s in The best lines in my opinion: 1. You’ll finish last...if you finish at all, 2. I’d feel sorry for these guys...if I was nicer, 3. and my personal fav “ careful blaze I would hate to see you get hurt” if your cultured you’ll k know why😏😏😏😏😏😏😏
Yeah, he's canonically shy. I certainly don't mind it, I'm shy myself, but I agree he should be depicted trash talking more since he's definitely confident and proud of his prowess which in turn makes him competitive. I don't ship Silvaze, but I see what you mean.
i like the light edge in his voice, he sounds happy but also serious,,,,, this is an overall friendlier character, but it doesn't sound like silver at all,, it's just so,,,, out there,,, but i do like it??but i also don't???im so conflicted
If Sonic is recast with Max Mittelman, Amy recast with Cristina Vee, Cream recast with Mela Lee and introducing characters that'll be voiced by Ben Diskin, Selah Victor and Carrie Keranen. Then it'll be a reunion with the main "Miraculous" voice cast.
Honestly, this is kinda what I wanted Silver's Quinton Flynn to be like. People usually call Silver the Raiden in the series, the naive goof who can be a badass if needed. Sonic Generations kinda forgot to add the goof part and just focused on the 'cool part'.
With Bryce Papenbrook as Silver, image Jet the Hawk being voiced by Derek Stephen Prince who voiced Fuyuhiko. Fun fact: both of those characters have the same seiyuu.
Ngl, I actually wish this was Sonic's voice. It sounds like the voice of a 15 year old hyperactive hedgehog. It suits Silver as well but I was listening to this while picturing Sonic saying it and it just fits.

Another reason I think he's one of Amy & Sonic's decendants. Amy taught herself how to tell her fortune (like a Psychic), which states she marries Sonic. Not to mention Sonic has Chaos Control and a blue aura to his boost, just like Silver.

I think his voice is pretty good (Heck, i think if they made another Riders game Bryce could voice Jet too) I do think his voice sounds identical to Bryce's other roles but that's been noticed for every anime 14 year old he's voiced

Creepy.B Stanbtsbtw In all appearances we see him, though, he’s 14. It’s kind of the opposite deal with Aang. He’s technically WAY older than Katara or Sokka, but also still considered 12 years old.
