You can tell he's not like other RU-vidrs emhm (TJ, Adam LZ, Dustin W.) They don't really know about there cars but get alot of money from their viewers to live out there dreams. They use videography and clickbait as a cheap way of getting views. This guy knows what he’s talking about 1000% accurate. Much respect!

I had an R33 GTR Vspec version that looked exactly like the one here. That was about 16 or more years ago, what a fantastic car it was You keep pushing it more and more especially around corners, as the back end started to loose grip you could feel the drive start to transfer to the front and pull it all straight again. I sold it to a guy up in Scotland, the reason I sold it was because I felt if I carry on like this I would kill my self and it was not really up for being a family car. I do miss it though .

I also own a Zenki R33 in non V-Spec and i enjoyed every minute of this video. It really goes into the details! Greetings to all GT-R owners.

I had once the luck to get a free passenger ride on a training round on the Nürburgring in a full racespec 911, the name green hell isn't for nothing! To archive a time in under 8 minutes back in the 90s is something most modern cars will never archive - without extensive tuning.

I'm glad you made this video to showcase the R33. It is so underrated, especially when the R34 is mentioned. And people just pretend to ignore the fact that the R33 was the first production sports car to break through the 8-minute barrier of the Nurburgring. Oh, and it has usable back seats!! The R34 doesn't have those!! " Gran Turismo may have led you to believe the R33 is the weak point in the GT-R dynasty." ??? I don't think so. I don't remember Gran Turismo showing the R33 as a worse GT-R than its siblings. The Initial D series though made a point that the R33 was a boat thanks to a certain character saying it was.

Seeing stock JDM cars just feels so pure! I love it! I wish more owners kept these cars closer to stock. I personally own a 2018 WRX STI and plan to keep it stock! ^___^

I had the V-Spec version and that thing coupled with Bridgestone tires had grip for days. For me it was the perfect GT, i could drive 2-3 hours and arrive with a smile on my face and no back pain what so ever, i loved those stock seats.

Really love that u took time to point out all the little improvements over the R32! I am trying to improve my R32 up to R33 and R34 standards after I do that then I will modify it the way I want with tasteful aftermarket mods. But your detailed videos using the OEM manuals helps a lot!!

You know you've made it as a RU-vid automotive channel when your camera car is a R35 GT-R.

I was 22 years old in 1989 when I first learned of the R32 GTR. Living in Miami Florida at the time I was very disappointed to learn that the GTR, and most JDM cars, were prohibited from legally entering USA. I owned just about every other Nissan sport cars since then but had no choice but to wait the 25 year rule. I could not afford a MotorX vehicle and sort of glad I didn't buy one. Finally, on 2016, after carefully searching for a good sample, I was able to import a really nice R32 GTR. Believe everything you hear about these cars, way ahead of anything of that era and then some. I own a 1992 GTR now I will never get rid of it, I will gladly pass it on to my youngest son when he turns 18, he is 9 years old now. If you are able to own one, I highly recommend you get one. Great vid as usual, sorry for the long story but Nissan is in my blood since I was a small boy. Thumbs up.

I remember clearly seeing one of these in maybe 1997, v-spec in purple, just like the one from Gran Turismo. Simply awe inspiring looking into that engine bay. Nothing else like it back then.

this is the first GTR I ever drove in Japan.last time I visited. and therefore became my favorite GTR. the fact that it was the underdog made it even better for me. I own a DC5 too so hopefully you do a review on one soon! :)

The 33gtr is my fave. That wide body and and that front end with the sleeker lights 😋😋😋😋

I don't have an R33 GTR. But I do have an Autech Stagea 260rs. Which is basically the same drivetrain as an R33 GTR. I love it. I can only imagine how much faster the 33 is with a bit less weight than the wagon. But simple upgrades on these really unlocked their potential. If I was gonna buy a GTR today I'd buy an R33. Because R32s have mostly been abused and R34s are priced at double an R33. So bang for buck R33s are the best. Some of the later R33s especially series 3 look great.

Excellent content as usual, maybe do a video on that Blitz 753 Project A80. Another amazing Nurburgring derived feat of that era.

3 generations of skyline gt-r covered and love them all. To me the r33 gt-r is like a THICC athletic high school girl that people kind of love and hate, once you get to know her and her quirks you'll fall in love with her. Btw great job with the review! Hopefully we could see a Mitsubishi GTO / 3000GT in future episodes and make comparisons with the skyline gt-r.

The R33 has always been my favourite as well, so this was a wonderful deep dive. Some of it I knew, some things were new! I used to own a GTS-T (the 250bhp one), and loved every minute of owning and driving it. Life intervened and it got stolen, but I definitely see another R33 in my future some time. The fact that they're the red-headed step child only means it'll be easier finding one for a decent price when the time comes!

I loved that car because of gran turismo 2! the unisia jecs, zexel, calsonic, kure! memories!

Ever since I've played gran turismo 1 (I was 9-10 yo) , I've dreamed to own this car, now I'm 25 and I still want to have one, I love the mean, monstrous look of this GTR, the look matches with the engine, powerful, monstrous, who doesn't kid around, to me this is the monster of the roads

IMHO, the R32, R34 & R35 GTRs will always reign supreme, but I will say, the R33 GTR has been growing on me recently thanks to the 1st Fast And The Furious film.

Aside from a R-31 GTS-R, a midnight purple GTR-33 is the one I'd prefer. I think they're the most balances and elegant looking.

The R33 is underappreciated GTR of the 32-35 set. It (appears) the doesn't get the same notoriety and love of the others -- because the 32, the origin of the Godzilla nickname and it track dominance; 34 because of FF and 35 because it was a global product. IMO the 33 is the best looking GTR with its simple soft curvy lines. I remember seeing the Jun R33 in a magazine. It was so damn nice!

The BCNR33 is my ultimate affordable dream car. I think it looks best especially in the rear end and it has character. Its not trying to be a mean car nor a friendly car. I wish i could own one but im only 21. I have my fairlady Z for now and i want to keep it for ever along with a BCNR33
