The Tecnam P2008 LSA is one of the best looking high wings in its class. Tecnam doesn’t disappoint what it come to designing modern sleek aircraft. From the cabin to the exterior. And the P2008 is no different. The airplane will seat 2 comfortable for a short trip. Longer trips may only have room available for one adult and a child.

I’ve been looking to feature this airplane for the last 3 years. Since we’ve covered the other Tecnam models; P2010, P2006 and the low wing Astore. I found this aircraft based in California. it’s a 2016 model equipped with a full Garmin glass cockpit and a turbocharged Rotax 914 engine. What you get is 115HP with a turbocharger. Comes in handy when you need to climb on warm summer days or at high elevation runways. The extra boost of power in the aircraft doesn’t necessarily give you more speed. Expect to cruise between 110 and 120 knots in the Tecnam P2008. Your fuel burn is 5-6 gallons of fuel per hour.
