Beard couldnt forgive Nate that he reminded him of the worst part of himself. Nate couldnt get over Will reminding him of the part of himself, that he considered 'weak'.
One thing my own lil' group of friends/fam discussed when the episode aired (we're in the US, about half of us are actually soccer fans and know what popular footballers do "off the pitch" when they're young) was Roy's seeming familiarity with Jamie's mom. That almost nostalgic, "..hey, you." and the "One for the road?" Not to start any conspiracy theories but as Roy once said, "statistically.." 🤣 It was actually my daughter (30yrs old - fan of the game) who first said, "Hey, what's the difference in age between Jamie and Roy?" Hilarity ensued.
That look between Rebecca and Sam was just them acknowledging how the movie they were watching (You've Got Mail) mirrors their own romance, they aren't trying to rekindle the relationship. Also, I'm not sure if you noticed, but Ted's "Thank you, Fuck you" to his mother is what Jamie said he would tell his father if he saw him.
@hcroussette I mean he literally tells her he doesn't want to be just friends, and then they start holding hands. They were about to kiss before someone walked in. Seems to pretty clearly give off the vibe that they're back on
@@SleepyWaffles I think you misread the scene. He tells her he doesn't want to be just friends, which means that they've already talked about this before and she has told him she wants to just stay friends. And before they get interrupted, Keeley takes his hand and says "Roy" in a tone that suggest she is about to say "Sorry, but no". I remember feeling so sad when I first saw that scene, especially after the way things ended for them in the previous episode.
Seeing Jamie Tart have a full blown meltdown like a toddler was the best TV i think I’ve ever seen. I’ve really enjoyed his story arc this season. He’s like Loki .. he’s now an anti-hero LOL
