Yes indeed and not forgetting Luther vandross but no doubt teddy pendergrass was quite simply a lovely singer n his look's that ladies loved indeed teddy pendergrass will always be one of the best singer's ever 👍
Teddy's voice here was a pure example of a gift of our God. He was taken from us too soon, but left us with so many joyful examples of his talent which touches our hearts and souls. We should be honoured and privileged, and ensure that we pass on his message and voice to our generations to come.

The man was an incredible talent. His ability to make his emotions masculine while singing about pain is amazing. The stage presence is unmatched, a gentlemen a classic in every meaning of the word
TP is one of the greatest showman and male singers to ever grace the stage .He was a gift from God Himself,even in his wheelchair he was unmatchable.Really miss him.

Charlie HD Gamer. i was there too brotha. love the whole showmanship i was in awww completely in trance of his control vocals. even in live concert got me speechless mannn miss him.the brotha was on point.
I was at this concert he was mesmerising his voice was so powerful the smile the beard he was the most handsome man I had ever seen as soon as he came on stage I was up on my feet the man who took me to the concert was not impressed but I didn’t care I fell in love that night and I still am he was the greatest ever to hold a microphone and this remains one of the best nights of my life RIP beautiful man xxxx

It started in the sixties, then on to the seventies. So many solo artists, so many groups, so many master musicians, white, black, soul, country, soft rock, hard rock, etc, etc, etc, it did not matter. In my humble opinion, the most phenomenal period the music world has ever seen. The seventies had something for everybody!!!

32 yrs ago ..that gave me a chill lol , main part ..Teddy LIVES on ..he reached people for that he can not be forgot ..any great artist for that matter , they helped us threw many things in life and brought our life light to life.
Teddy p brings brings so many memories for me. He was one of the greatest singers and really soulful songs. He will be surely missed but never forgotten.

Yes, there are plenty of acts out there that are amazing, I am just saying there are to many that are not. Back in these days a Justin Beiber would be booed from the stage because there was no auto tuning. You had to perform live. Most of the great artist of the 60's 70's and even the 80's were amazing singers. But it seems today people like Rihanna, Beiber, and Cyrus are the bigger artist and none of them are really that good. Not to insult Rihanna, I just don't care much for her type of Music.

This was Teddy's last show, and I wish with all my heart I could have been there. Teddy will always be number one to me. No one can touch, his voice. And he was so dang fine. I am glad I can still enjoy his music.

First, you have to have a great song writer. Second, you need someone who can deliver the song in a way that can incite the emotions of the audience. Third, the deliverer has to have struggled in his or her life to be able to breathe life into the lyrics. Lastly, you have to have people who are willing to take the time to play their instruments and master them. Music today or over the past 20 years has not had those 4 essential elements. Therefore, we continue to listen to the classics.
