This is too good. That Foreman sequence of him losing to Ali and then beating Moorer. That's the thing with your videos. One sees more than athletic highlights. They're mini biographies packed with the best highlights ever. I can't say enough. You are the man sir!! I'll get back to the video now!!

Heres some "Foreman Facts" for u guys... When foreman retired in 1977, he was 28 and finished with a record of 45-2. When he came back in 1987, he was 38 years old and won his first 24 fights. 22 of those wins were by way of knockout and only 4 of those 24 wins went passed the 5th round. It took Evander Holyfield 12 rounds and a unanimous decision to give the 42 year old his first loss since his comeback. Those numbers are unbelievable. He was easily deserving to be on this list. Some would argue that he should be higher than #9 and a lot of viewers would agree. But overall, this is a great video and thanks for uploading it. Well done.

Problem is Manny doesnt beat at least 3 of the guys on this list that got mentioned in weight classes he could have fought them in. He's good where hes at. Definitely a legend but stop the cap. And if you need me to list them for you, Floyd beat him, Duran would have killed him, Leonard would have stopped him cold. Honestly dont think he beats prime de la hoya either.

ITT: People complaining about the order or the honorable mentions. Most every single person would order this differently depending on what you base it on. It's your opinion and it's certainly biased. Roy is my favorite fighter and I agree with the second half of your post but you can make that same argument for most fighters on the list. Roy was a better fighter, yes, and his career was more dynamic than Floyd's but it wasn't more iconic.
@mchockney3664
@mchockney3664 5 лет назад
@@flashfive12 One thing you gotta give to Floyd is that he chose the perfect moment to hang up his gloves. Roy obviously didn't, which can be said about a lot of legendary fighters. @flashfive12
@flashfive12 5 лет назад
@Brian Whitehead Roy is an inch taller with the same wingspan, arguably quicker hands, way more power in BOTH hands, slightly not as quick, but has more stamina, and is heavier. Roy definitely had better footwork if you look at defensive clips and it's not even close. He also had more attack angles. Hagler is the only fighter of those 3 that would stand a chance and that's because of his crazy chin. Jones is literally Leonard if Leonard put on weight, got more punching power, without losing his speed, with better conditioning. This was a debate early in Roy's career but that argument has been put to bed ages ago.

Joseph Vincent videos are informative in a compact way, but also thrilling and they really capture what makes boxing unique. The music and sound effects are on point 95% of the time. I got chills from the way he set up the Hearns vs Duran KO at 3:20. It is tough, though, seeing icons like Jack Johnson and Joe Frazier get totally snubbed. I mean, Jack Johnson was the most famous black man in the world during his prime and one of the most dominant heavyweights of all time. His audacity and bravery was unmatched, too. He ran the risk of being killed back in those days and still acted however he wanted to. Frazier doesn't need to be in the top ten, but no honorable mention?

Joeseph Vincent bro I thought about it and Vasyl Lomachenko 100 percent should be on this top ten list and not just an honorable mention the moves skills technical abilities and footwork this guy has and displays and the records he’s attained and has achieved is a game changer and he has influenced the current generation of boxing as well as the up and coming generation his footwork and moves are being taught at gyms all over right now. He definitely is in the top ten!
