Michael Bien looked and acted like he was in a war. The new Kyle Reese looks and acts like a generic good looking protagonist who randomly was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Honestly this is the best editing I've have ever seen on a video. You can tell that he actually tries in his work and is proud of it. This channel is like a hidden jem.
The canon itself was even considerate enough to incorporate altered timelines as part of the story, giving us a super convenient in universe workaround to stick with the first 2 movies, and say "nah that never happened on the real timeline" to all the other garbage they release.

So it's like a month after the end of T2 and another T800 shows up out of nowhere and shoots John Connor in the face. That's literally how the movie starts. Then it turns out that John Connor is actually replaceable by any random person off the street, making the entire franchise pointless. THEN it turns out that the T800 that killed John FEELS REMORSE and STARTS A FAMILY. And this piece of shit is the James Cameron approved sequel! That's why people are frustrated.
I couldn't agree with you more. The Terminators in the original movies felt invincible, the chase scenes with the T-1000 still get me on the edge of my seat, knowing it's impervious to guns and blunt trauma of any kind. Only after a long, torturous battle did it finally meet its end purely out of situational circumstance (falling backwards into the molten steel). Terminators nowadays seem to be very easy to take out. Yawn.
Terminator and T2 need to be packaged together like Evil Dead 1&2. They're not really different movies. One perfected the other with a larger budget, but will never supersede the first tonally. T3 was garbage. Props to Salvation for trying something new. Props to Genisys for trying something new. Props to anything that tries something new. So even though I love T2, I can't give it my love fully as it plays the game too safe.

Ex: Man of Steel. It Sucked. 2/10. You don't have to do it if it doesn't seem worth the time. Arnold has achieved a level of greatness where if he says a word one way and the rest of society says it another, you have to at least consider the possibility that he is right and everyone else is wrong.
It's pretty common for actors to be contractually obligated to promote and speak positively of the movies they sign on for, or at the very least be forbidden from saying negative things that might hurt profitability for a certain amount of time after release. And even when there isn't a contract forcing them, most actors know (or have managers that know) that even if they're being honest, talking badly about a movie they are in is a really effective way to make sure lots of directors and producers avoid hiring them for future projects.

I totally agree! I like Salvation. Seeing the battles of the war is really cool, especially that opening scene with the attack in which we see Resistance fighters attack a Skynet facility(with old radar transmitter dishes as well!) I like Christian Bale as John Connor and Bryce Howard as Kate. I think It’s underrated as Terminator movie, considering the action scenes are practical effects!) Great War drama action!
Why not just re-release the original Terminator? NO seriously, some people wouldn't have seen the first one in theaters by this point. I sure would. I don't care about watching the 32 plus year old movie in a theater. They basically tried rebooting with Genisys, but it was so complicated with alternate universe BS and had stupid Terminators.
The skit at the end was pretty badass., funny! timing was perfect, very well done. ... It actually conveys the chaos of what Terminator has become that people are trying to makes sense of in their brains.. Or is that just me?
"You didn't do the fourth" "Thank God" Salvation wasn't great, but I enjoyed it much, much more than 3 or Genesis. It at least tried to do something different with the franchise instead of just relying on nostalgia at every possible turn.
Salvation was no terminator 1 or 2 but I thought it was good and at the very least was nice eye candy in a lot of scenes. The ending would have been better if they hadn't changed it last minute because of leaks.
You know I get sick and tired of this hate for T4, when actually as far as the sequels I consider it the best one because it wasn't just another fucking chase film. It was a competent depiction of the post apocalyptic world, it didn't need Arnold yet again and actually focused on other characters and those killer motorbikes were cool and scary it was an awesome world they created so give it a fucking rest with the bandwagon hate, I bet you just want Arnold trotted out even when he's in a coffin.
If you take away the Terminator title from that movie is an average action flick at best that had some trouble during the making of the film. Genesys can literally go fuck itself, I had headache watching it, so bad.
Can't agree more. I always felt that way about Salvation! Nowhere near 1 & 2, but I still consider it part of the canon - I CANNOT say that about Genisys...
Of course the old fraudhack Arnold wouldn't like it - he only likes things that star him and don't go beyond the lines in which he likes to color. It's okay - there's even less of us folk that enjoy Alien:Resurrection.

It’s almost commendable how much they tried to get it to make sense. They should have just made another Terminator movie ignoring all of the events of the past/future/whatever the hell it is these days as you said.
You know how when your parents get too old you take away their car keys? The same thing needs to happen with movie franchises like Alien and Terminator.
This movie was such a wasted opportunity. They could've not made it, and used its budget to make more seasons of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Although if they did that, we'd have a different Cersei, so I guess it's all for the best.
