My favorite point in Terraria progression is the very beginning of Hardmode, when the whole game changes and it feels almost like you're starting from scratch in a sequel. This music captures that moment very well.
@@trueMSB Fish for crates pre-hardmode, and then open them right after you enter hardmode. Lets you skip most of the ore grinding if you fish for enough crates
Hallow is the ancient spirit of light, and its something the WoF releases along with the dark (Corruption and Crimson) to send a new guardian for the world.
@@Meowlegend7 Yeah, a guardian that fails in protecting the world. The biggest treat to the Terraria's world is the world itself, because apparently it lacks any sense of self-preservation
The sky is filled with rainbows, the forests are whimsically colored, fresh clean and sweet air, the deserts are pearly white, the fields are vibrant and filled with unicorns. The Hallow is truly the spirit of light; pixies, unicorns, rainbow slimes, chaos elementals(spectral ones too in console), illuminant bats and slimes, and flying gastropods call this land home. The rocks are pearlstone and deep underground grow crystals that glow and glimmer, this is truly a beautiful land of deciving appearances. make no mistake, just because light is the opposite of dark doesn't mean that this land is "good". The Hallow spreads with the same virulence as the spirit of darkness, it will transform all the world into a dangerous land of fairy tale, despite being habitable, notice that all creatures here still want to kill you.
everyone complains about the hallow being to difficult to deal with but it's not really that bad if you know what you're doing. so i let it spread everywhere. better than having the corruption spread, because the hallow prevents the corruption from spreading at all, which would destroy the jungle permanently
Let me try describing the Hallow. After you punch the ultimate resident of Hell (WoF) into March 32nd, it throws up rainbows onto the land like that one gnome from Gravity Falls. This makes a majestic land of rainbows and pure sweetness. This place is super pure. Like, SUPER pure. And when you step onto it, the biome deems you impure, and then a unicorn proceeds to skewer you on it's horn like a kebab at a barque. Any questions?
Dor-Al Kryton Eh, Crimson isn't for me. Last time I tried it, the skin kinda peeled off, and it looked really gross, not to mention the mess it made. I love Corruption, but stuff seasoned with that expires so fast. I've found ground glowing mushrooms are a good choice too, if you don't mind glowing blue for a few hours.
Not at all. Though, if you want some texture, some coral from the ocean goes great. and unicorn and demon hearts go well with each other with the sweet and spicy formula.

@@coolpy4936 it's actually possible. Once you kill a mechanical boss, the Steampunker will show up. You can buy her Clentaminator and use blue Solution to spread the Hallow, Green Solution to spread the Purity, red Solution for Crimson, and Purple for Corruption.

I thought this biome was supposed to be like the anti corruption and be super safe, so I planted the hallowed seeds literally next to my house, amazing decision
Just asking, where did you get the Hallow seeds? It must have taken you longer than 2 minutes, which at that point, you have probably realized the Enemies are strong as hell.

i still remember the first time they added hardmode in terraria and beating the wall of flesh. going to the surface and see rainbows and this music. "Well how this can be so bad? looks happy and nice? oh look an unicorn it cant be a bad creature" and then it charges toward me and i get one shotted. "what the heck??"
I rember playing for the first time ages ago on xbox 360, killing the wall of flesh and thinking I had won the game. Then, I found the hallow and realized there were challenges yet to come
My world is an absolute disaster Like one half of the world is crimson and the other half is hallow The jungle creature retreated underground because the crimson took over And the only grass is a greenhouse i built to preserve the natrual buty of default forest And i am currently living in a lihizard tower i built and the only entrance is a teleporter far away And the tower is under a mountain in the snow biome going to space No wonder my NPC's keep going away
Ever since I entered Hardmode, I learned to hate the Corruption's theme and love the Hallow's theme. The Hallow may be just as dangerous as the Corruption, but at least it doesn't try to destroy the Jungle.
LoonyIntellect someone trolled me so I thought that both destroy Jungle, now I know how to get best world. I always loved Hallowed from the first time I met it :D

Why is nobody talking about how there’s two new styles for the hallow trees? One that’s pastel colored and the other is a more spiky variant. I also find it cool how the trees only change with the background compared to the actual tree globe lol
0:47 to 1:01 should play when you defeat the wall of flesh for the first time and 0:57 is when "The ancient spirits of light and dark have been released" apears on screen

@@snynn Purity is pure, i think what they're trying to say is that crimson and corruption is evil, whereas the hallow is so pure, it sees everything near it as 'impure' and needs to be 'cleansed'.

The fact that the player after killing a literal wall of flesh and teeth have problems dealing with unicorns afterwards just sounds so funny to me for some reason
Good I hate Navi she's annoying he tells you obvious hints she kept she says Link Link over over again I don't need your help even though this is my first playthrough and I've been taking way too long 30 hours already and I'm on the third dungeon of the Adult Link part of the game and the navi tells me to take a break
AKA: the sound of a new player thinking they have entered the paradise biome completely free of enemies until a pixie barely rubs against them and kills them
@@prev8374 in my main terraria world one of my friends built a big sans at the edge of our base and the Hallow has spread right up to the sans so now it looks like he's protecting the base
I remember when I first played this game. I was in my cousin's world and as he was doing something I wandered off and found this. Stickey was skewered by a unicorn
I like how the evil biomes and the Hallow are kind of like Ying and Yang, where having only badness (evil biome) or only goodness (the Hallow) is dangerous, and perfect balance and purity comes from the overworld, which is pretty peaceful but has a mixture of good and bad things.

This song was the reason I would convert my base to hallow biome. I took a break, came back and find the song replaced. Was not happy. Now I can only hear it here but better then not being able to hear it at all. Thank you very much for posting this version.
I wouldn’t say so. Hallow IS like heaven. But you know how there are biblically accurate angels that look creepy af and will kill you if you don’t believe in god? I think it’s the same thing. It’s only good to people who are good.
The structures I've built are in a weird placment, being both in the sky, in the normal Overworld, and the Hallow. The music constantly changes whenever I take a step.
this song felt cathartic to hear for the first time because i didn't get a natural "hallow" really at all, it careened right into my jungle which was mildly inconvenient honestly a part of me wants to consider this the "hard mode" forest theme considering that you'll probably be using it for keeping stuff you don't want to get corrupted a lot
2013 ending, beggining of 2014, you have installed a hacked world with hardmode on mobile terraria, the first biome/music you hear is hallow...😭 nostalgia i was an idiot for deleting my videos that got hardmode worlds of terraria...

I’ve never heard this song in game cause my worlds hollow biome spread right through my jungle which totally prevented it from having any major presence in my world.
My Hallow generated in the Jungle, which is very cool because now I have to make an artificial Underground and Surface Hallow just to get Gelatin Crystals and then fight Queen Slime. I love World Generation! 😀👍
