Inside the speed controller there are shunts. Add solder to it to make it thicker and you can get much more power out of it with little to no risk to the speed controller. I tried it back when I had an ebike and you get more torque and acceleration
I've assembled some of that kind of hub motor rotors, hope your magnets are glued very well. Also don't overheat them too much, as the stator/rotor air gap can become too small... VERY small
Add a simple single sided steering damper to the steering. That'll help stop the "speed wobble" you get at certain higher speed ranges. ..Keep it up guys! Respect! :)
@@Not-C-418 yes i build it my self with a downhill bike. Double hub motor i was clocked by a police ofificer going 50. . he was impressed that he even ask me if he could rife it.
you could try some fatbike tires - would give you more road stability and you would get closer to a scooter yet still have a bike, also for even more staility you can make it withe 3 tires (triclycle) i would love to see you pull something like that off. Good luck!
I'm seriously considering making one. I had to buy a motorbike here in Bogota because the traffic is so bad, but this would destroy, and I wouldn't have to pay all kinds of tax on top of the expensive bike!
