I want to say this is Jackson, MS??? Maybe Lafayette, LA? I know it's not New Orleans or St Bernard, but still pretty cool for those who have not seen this before. I may post more stuff during the holidays, still got a ton that not a lot of people have seen I'm sure. I did not check but if this is already here on youtube, my bad.
Watch as Grizzly Smith makes Ernie Ladd leave ringside because he does not have his "manager's license". Man I miss this type of stuff. Anyways, enjoy. WWE has been taking down a LOT of my stuff, things that they do not even own, and I cannot understand why. If you saw a match and it's not there anymore, it's them. I'm just a little guy and cannot see a way to get them back up.

Was either Chalmette LA on 25 Aug 1980, Alexandria LA on 30 Aug 1980, or Jackson MS on 3 Sep 1980.

It's definitely not Lafayette. The Cajundome wasn't open in 1980, and the Municipal Auditorium and Blackham Coliseum didn't have the seating arrangement seen in the video. Based on match results listed online, this was filmed in December 1980 at the Baton Rouge Centroplex.

OH, ok, I saw ACDC there around this time. Remember it was a cool place. Don't think I ever went to wrestling there though, since I lived about 3 blocks from the St Bernard Civic Center. and maybe 6 miles from the New Orleans Municipal Auditorium. Also looks like the house wasn't even half full, when a match that that would sell out in NOLA/St Bernard, easily.

1st I wanna thank you Rob D for this and all the amazing posts!! Terry Gordy was one of the greatest workers ever and Damn could he sell!! I don't understand why the pos wwe gotta take things down that don't even belong to them!!!! Fuck vkm!!!! He wants everyone to think he created Wrestling, to me he destroyed it!!!!

Hi Rob D: I don't know if this will help but there is another youtuber who posts a ton of World Class material. He puts up everything with a disclaimer that it is personal footage and not owned by WWE (although officially WWE does own the World Class tape library). I think if you post with that form of disclaimer than it is considered fair use and WWE cannot pull it down. I'll try to find one of his videos on my watch list and if you want to reply back I can send it to you.

You say it's WWE....are you sure it's not Corgan? His weak version of the NWA own the Houston tape library, it might be him deleting your stuff. Or some of the stuff you uploaded is own by WWE by association, since they bought the full Mid-South library back in 2013 and they might own some of the stuff seen in Houston as well if the tapes featuring UWF guys were shared by both Boesch and Watts back in the day. Maybe ask RU-vid about it.

It's WWE 100%, Corgan is cool about Houston... Also some of the Houston stuff they complained about was from the 70's which in no way they own.
