Loved this video. I use my 1/4” foot which I measured and is a true 1/4”. I was interested to see you demonstrating using a flat seam. I find it much easier to line up the seams when I open the seam, but haven’t been doing it this way as I thought it was a no no in quilting. What are the disadvantages of opening out the seam? Thank you for your wonderful videos which I’ve just discovered. I’ve learned so much already. ❤
