Proof that if you are trying to run more power through the truck wiring you are leaving power on the table. As always a quality antenna system is needed more the a good cb radio. You can run all the power in the world, but if your coax, mount, antenna, and grounding is junk then you're fighting a losing battle.

The size and length of the feed wire has a big effect on power supplied, especially with DC ,looks like a big difference in size to me. #10 awg vs # 16 awg?

How's that Dosy meter working for you, I've been thinking about getting a Dosy but some of the negative reviews I've seen on Amazon has me thinking twice on getting one.

When you get a Dosy, it needs to be taken to a cb shop to be calibrated, as they're not very accurate from the factory. That's probably the reason for the negative reviews.

@@jrichtruckincbtips The problem with CB shops is there isn't any reputable CB shops within a 100 mile radius from where I live, I'd have to mail it off and I order all of my CB gear from shops out of state, so what I've been doing to test the antenna swr and cable resistance is using my antenna analyzer which has been very reliable at checking the swr at every frequencies or channels.

What do you mean that your Cobra 29 let you down. Why don't you want to reveal your secrets? 😀😀👍. We are a little bit curious how if the provider that I am conncetd with makes a difference in what I see in yoour YouTUbe videos. One provider my mother is subscribed to the othe Internet provider that I am connected to, I am subsribed to. That's all I can report on but I will cerTAINLY COME UP WITH SOME MORE CONTENT and food for thought. Warm Regards! Paul
