From rangers fans everywhere, much appreciated. I think most of us still can't believe it finally happened. I've been watching vids like this for days, now.
Gotta say, as a 45+ year fan of the Texas Rangers... The well wishes from the other teams' fans have been unexpected, and unexpectedly comforting. Thanks to all ya'll for acknowledging the long struggle, a struggle that was so persistent that a lot of us Ranger fans had accepted it as part of our reality.
From having a stellar manager who knows how to put a winning team together to the right combination of players, you fans absolutely deserved this win in over sixty years of frustration and coming so tantalizingly close in the last twenty. Coming from an A's fan.
Congratulations to the Texas Rangers and their Fans, I couldn't be anymore happier for you. Coming from a Boston Red Sox Fan, you erased the horrors of 2011 the same way we erased our ghosts of 1986. GOOD JOB!
I was in college when that happened and clearly remember one of the windows in the student apartment complex I lived in having "GO SOX" on it in masking tape. And I remember being envious and wishing the Rangers could do what they finally did. lol
This win made me cry. This video also made me cry. My brother passed away three years ago. He's the reason I'm a Rangers, Cowboys, Stars and Mavs fan. it makes me sad seeing everyone celebrate together and cause he didn't get to witness all 4 teams become champions. So happy for the Rangers tho ❤️💙❤️💙
My buddy was from the DFW area and grew up a Rangers fan. Imagine watching Gm5 and wearing my 2011 WS Pujols jersey. I will never forget the moment he jumped to bear hug me, and just let loose this absolute ROAR of pure emotion & exultation. First words outta my mouth to a Rangers fan was "HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE A WORLD FUCKIN' CHAMPION, HUH?!"
Thanks to the Mariners for still playing the Rangers hard that last series! If we would have won the division and got home field we wouldn’t have been celebrating this World Series!
My father was a very strong Ranger fan and he wished that he could see this day before he passed away. And he passed away three years ago. I wish you could be here to have seen his Texas Rangers win
I’m 67 years old and I’ve been waiting patiently since 1972 when they moved to Arlington for this to happen. And now I’m looking to celebrate for the next six weeks.
Was going as a young child their very first year with Ted Williams. Went to an historic game. The one nachos was first served. It began in Arlington Stadium, then the rest of the world followed suit
Congrats from a Cubs Fan it's a long wait and you got there you have a similar feeling 2003 NLCS disappeared just as that 2011 World Series woe is gone. Congrats Texas Rangers
@@americanloyalist4599that was the projected number on the low end to my knowledge it went as high as 950,000 people in attendance for the Victory Parade
Totally not gonna lie though, What a career changing moment for this franchise and this fanbase, 52 Seasons in the making. Kudos to the Texas Rangers for finally winning the World Series ⭐
Congratulations Bochy ! As manager of my beloved Giants , you took us higher to World Champions 3 times . Well deserved Rangers , my favorite AL team .
Thank you for all the congratulations by other teams fans. It means a lot to me as a Rangers fan. This team definitely deserved to win. I’m still in shock. GO RANGERS!!!
I am 53 yo and have been a fan since i was 8 yo ..my dad introduced me to ranger baseball, he died on November 1 2021 so them winning on November 1 made that day easier for me this year...i just wish he could have seen them win this ..he loved them so much ... thank you rangers for this
A wonderful feeling after years of heartbreak. A victory way overdue. An opportunity to win it all seized. A celebration waiting to happen. A victory not just for the team, but for all who follow them. A truly wonderful feeling. Congratulations! 😃👍
Congratulations to the Texas Rangers from a Giants fan that was rooting for Bruce Bochy. It’s crazy how one day you’re sitting on a recliner at home and months later you’re winning your fourth World Series title. The crazy thing about the feeling of accomplishment is that it can be so quickly and easily replaced with misery. For example, the DBacks won the NL Pennant and were overwhelmed with joy, but as soon as they lost the WS, all of that overwhelming joy was replaced with misery, like their previous accomplishment meant nothing. It's only a forgotten memory that holds no bearing on the feelings of the future. Feelings are fickle, as well as the accomplishment of anything. People want so much, get it, and its almost instantly forgotten a week later. Don't be sad when you don't get what you want in life, cause even when you do, in a week, a month, whatever, it will be feel like it never happened and you will most likely feel just as you did, before it happened.
We Rangers fans lived through 2010 and ESPECIALLY 2011. We understand. lol After 2011 I thought welp, that's it. That was our shot. We managed to get there two years in a row and I bet we never get back there again. It took another 12 years but third time was the charm. And really, Rangers fans have wanted this for so long (30 years in my case; my first game was in 1993 when I was 9) that even if we absolutely suck next season we'll still love them just as much. I've heard SO MANY fans say they don't care if we never do it again, we were able to get ONE. Just ONE. I share that sentiment! We love them dearly.
I’ve been a rangers fan since 2008. This was my best friends first year actually following the rangers, mostly because I wouldn’t shut up about it. We watched all but 3 postseason games together.
Been a Rangers fan from the early Ferguson Jenkins, Jim Sundberg days and man, DOES THIS FEEL GOOD!!!!!! Especially since we stuck it to the Astros along the way.
I've been a fan since Nolan Ryan in the early '90s. I went to my first game in 1993 when I was 9, and it made me grow up with a love for baseball and a YEARNING for the Rangers to do the things I saw other teams do every season. I never in a million years thought I'd hear a sports broadcaster say _"The Texas Rangers win the World Series!!"_ and part of me still can't believe this is real. lol
Was going as a young child their very first year with Ted Williams. Went to an historic game. The one nachos was first served. It began in Arlington Stadium, then the rest of the world followed suit
I’ve probably watched the rangers win the World Series 100 times already and it still gives me chills, I’m so proud of how far they have come and can’t wait to go to the rangers ballpark and see 3 flags that day Division, Champion, and World Series Championship flags.
I had a red and white Rangers pennant on the wall in my bedroom growing up in the early '90s. My World Series champions pennant came in the mail yesterday. 🥹
Nice 👍🏾 congratulations 🎊. Love to see Fan bases win, different sport but when The Philadelphia Eagles Won our first superbowl I’ve never felt more happier in my life. Was in complete tears, remembering those hard losses, seasons after seasons
I moved to Texas at the end of 1995 and went to my first Rangers game in 1996 and have been a fan since. This was the best after every single heartbreak❤
I had loads of fireworks left over from the 4th of July and went out and fired them all. Cops came by because of the noise and told them I was doing it because the Rangers won the Worldseries.
I was at the watch party at Globe Life Field. WHAT A WONDERFUL MOMENT!! To get to see a world championship won by a team in the city you live in is CRAZY!!
Cards fan coming in peace. Congrats, Rangers fans. You exorcised the Demons of 2011. This World Series is one you can finally call your own. And always remember... "The 1st one is ALWAYS the sweetest" applies to every sport, but especially baseball and hockey. Congrats, Texas. The RIGHT team won it all this year
I'm French (no one is perfect) but a Rangers fan. It was 4 a.m., in front of my television. At the last throw I screamed and woke up my wife who understood. Thanks for the video.
Same here, bought my ALCS stuff 15 mins after they won and my WS gear 5 mins after they won, just got my WS t-shirt in 2 hours ago and waiting for the sweatshirt.
Even as an Astros fan it was great to see you guys win, I always rooted for the rangers over the cardinals and loved watching Josh Hamilton as a kid, so hats off to Arlington congrats
Congratulations Rangers and Rangers fans! You deserve it. My only consolation is the trophy stays in Texas. From a heartbroken Astros fan I’m happy for y’all
I actually saw the Commissioner’s Trophy at a Frisco Rough Riders game on Saturday with my brother. It’s beautiful!!!!! Never in a million years did I ever think I’d see any major sports trophy, let alone the one you earn for winning the World Series!!! It’s actually bigger than it looks on tv!!! Plus the fact that the Riders won 12-2 also helped with the awesomeness of that day, so there you go!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m 47 and grew up 30 miles from downtown and Arlington. The old Texas Stadium was closer in Irving. However I have seen the Dallas Cowboys 3 times. Dallas Mavericks 2 winning 1. The Stars in 2000, and now my Rangers have down it! So fortunate to see all my teams I like in each sport win a championship. Not everyone can say that. The Rangers are set for the next 3-5 years and if we get Ohtani and bring up the kid in the minor leagues (2024) we are set for 5-7 years. The window is wide open folks and most tens in MLB saw this coming. They have arrived!
Man it was a great year in sports for me. Rangers win World Series. Renegades win the XFL. My dad’s old high school he used to go to won the state championship in football. Texas won the Big 12 championship that I was at and made it to the CFP playoffs for the first time. Yah the cowboys collapsed but it was an amazing season. I’m so happy
I watched this live with my family and we all lost our collective shit over this. So glad the Rangers won. I don't hate the Diamondbacks but I'd rather my Rangers win it all. I hope they keep Garcia in their roster for a while. And Eovaldi. I am so jealous of the people in that stadium that saw it live.
Congratulations to the Rangers. So happy for Bochy. I just wonder how many of those Rangers fans are lifelong faithfuls and whom are just bandwagon fans.
As a cardinals fan. Watching the rangers go through multiple hearbreaks with world series runs. It makes me happy to see a franchise that 3xperu3nced that take it all on a great season. Very fun alcs even thoguh the world series was one sided lol. Congradulatuons. Enjoy your win. Vwry fun to watch
Well I’m glad the rangers won there first World Series championship hopefully next year it will be the brewers rays marniners Rockies and padres turn to get there first World Series championship
As a Cubs fan, I extend my congratulations!!!! Nothing beats the feeling of winning it after a long long looooooooooong time waiting!!!!! Congratulations Texas Rangers!!!!!!!!!!!! PS thank you for eliminating the Cheatros!!!!!!!!
While the Succubus still feasts on H-Town and its teams (See Tree's Video: Houston The City That Sold Its Soul) (Astros: Trash Can Beaters, Texans: Endless Rebuilding, Rockets: Mediocrity) The DFW metroplex can celebrate as the Rangers finally shed their demons! This is coming from Marlins Territory! Congrats!
I can agree with you on that. The Cowboys are an accident waiting to happen. What can go wrong, will go wrong. Someway, somehow, when it counts, just wait. They will let you down.
My vid started at the 1:22 mark. Prob cuz what I said at the very end. They felt sorry for the old fart that waited since the age of 6. 😅 Cool that we made it on here
