Texas Roadhouse Bread Rolls Recipe| Hot Buttery Soft Bread

Been craving for the buttery and cinnamony bread rolls of Texas Road House for a while. Nowhere to get one, so I made a copycat that is sooo good!
Here's what you'll need:
1 tbsp sugar (10g)
2 tsp active dry yeast
1 cup warm milk (236 ml)
3 and 1/3 cup all purpose flour (415g)
3 tablespoons sugar (30g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
1 large egg
1/3 cup melted butter (75g)
Cinnamon-Honey Butter:
1 stick unsalted butter (100g)
¼ cup icing sugar
2 tablespoons of honey
½ teaspoon cinnamon
I tried baking the first tray for 18 minutes which came out good, and the second tray for 15 minutes which came out softer and fluffier. But please note that baking time varies depending on your oven specifications. I am using a conventional oven which heat rises from the bottom.

I love Texas Roadhouse rolls but I have to say these are the best rolls I’ve had. I’ve made a lot of recipes but no recipe has compared to this one. Very light, fluffy and delicious and, easy to make! Thank you sooooo much for sharing!😘

Made these tonight!! (February 21st, 2021) Nerve-wracking because I've literally never made bread or rolls of any kind before, but even with all my f*ck ups, they turned out great! Very dense, soft & fluffy, I can't believe it. I didn't have the large wooden cutting board or the dough cutter, but I made due with what I had. I also have no clue how long I kneaded the dough... idk if it was less than 10 minutes or more, lmao. And I also made mine a little bigger than the video because we want to use them as sandwich bread. Even with all these things "wrong", they turned out really great. Honestly, a foolproof recipe!

I tried this recipe today and to be honest it was really good! So soft and it taste like the one we ate in Texas Roadhouse, but the cinnamon honey is way too sweet than the original (i just need to adjust it next time I make it) but overall the best bread I’ve made! Thanks for your recipe 😘🥰

Don't use the sugar. 1 Stick of butter 2 Tablespoon Honey 1 Teaspoon cinnamon The color is darker than Texas Roadhouse but the taste is spot on

Oh my gosh I love these buns from Texas Road House! Haven’t had for a couple years and with Covid. Probably not for a couple more... ugh BUT!!! U have saved the day. It’s really easy to use a wooden spoon or non stick utensil to mix dough until it’s easy to just dust your hand with flour and knead it a little on a floured surface 👍🏽

Love this recipe you get a thumbs up from my family. It even turned out right with me making several mistakes # newbie baker. 1) I forgetting to punch the dough 2) I preheated the oven to 180c forgetting to convert it to F, it was in the oven for about 5 minutes before I realized my mistake lol.

The trick is to whip the butter. 10-15 minutes in a stand mixer. It transforms it into light fluffy butter just like the restaurant. It only has butter, cinnamon, honey in it. Trust me!

Also you can make an apple dip with cream cheese, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla, whip all together and serve with apples. I used to be a chef for a daycare this was a big hit.

Tried. Failed. Followed the steps to add ingredients, the mixing and it was a mess. Too wet. I had to keep adding more flour to the quicksand mixture while kneading. It still looks a total mess. I’ll let it rise and see if it is salvageable. Otherwise it’s going into the bin. What a waste of ingredients. Is the grams measurements correct?
