I was sitting here studying for my test next week and just happened to take a break. I decided to lay down & listen to some music to clear my mind then said, let me see if there are any videos on You Tube for the 268 & this came up. I put the phone down and closed my eyes to rest my mind for a minute while tge video played then I sat up & said I know that voice. I started scrolling through & low & behold!! Lol!!! I pray that all is well in your world. I'm about to listen to the rest so that I can get this test behind me.❤❤

Good morning, I took my test a year ago and I failed it by 3 points. I got really discouraged because I think I practiced and prepared a lot for it. The score on my CR was not what I had expected. Most of my teaching experience has been at international schools so it is a bit extra challenging for me to learn about Texas ways to teach and manage schools. Do you know of any otger resource that I can use together with your great videos? please respond soon, I have tovtake this test again soon. Thank you

When I was studying for the exam I didn't see much of anything out there that was helpful. That was a few years ago so there may be new resources out there. I heard there is a big community on Facebook. They may know of something.

Hi Tina, to start thank you for this! It has been very helpful! Do you have any tips on timing? I've ran through the constructed responses and it took me about 50 mins for each one. :/

My goal was to give myself 30 minutes per constructed response. The first time I practiced this I did horribly on the multiple choice questions. I had to practice devoting time to both.

hello, I just saw a couple of your videos and I find them so helpful! I am an international educator and I am in the process of completing the PASL and preparing for the 268 test at the same time. I feel that being from another country adds additional challenges to this process. How may I have access to your whole series of videos? do you have anything that can be beneficial to completing the PALS assignments as well? Thank you. And congratulations on your successes. I must be bad at this. I thought your videos were helpful but I scored only 2's on the written parts and there is no feedback as to why. Is there any study groups or places to pay for tutoring on this exam. This is my second fail and I keep scoring 2's and a 236 so If I can only get 1 3 on the written part I would pass. PLEASE HELP

I am sorry to hear that. I have heard that there are study groups on Facebook but I am not a part of any. Without looking at your submission I would speculate that your evidence needs to be beefed up.

@@tinaha33 There was a question on the 4th CR and I remember your video where you say do not get tricked and tie it back into student achievement. But it was about behavior at an elementary and the documents were just three surveys and a demographic chart showing that there is an infulx of spanish speaking people into the school. I tried to a tie the poor behavior in the building to students and parents not understanding the rules of the school so I created a reading outreach program to bring ESL students and parents into the school. There was no data to tie it to and it sounded like they wanted me to write on how to fix behavior but I couldn't shake trying to tie it back into student achievement. I wish there were test scores or something other than surveys telling me that parents and students dont understand the rules and teachers frustrated with kids acting out and fighting.

@@shepherdvideoproduction2053 That sounds like a culture question. Sounds like a disconnect between the staff and the new demographic of students and parents.
