I met Rick about 18 years ago. I was so impressed with what an authentic, nice, genuine, and happy pleasant guy he was/is. He smiles and looks you in the eye when you converse. I know a long-time (20+ years)TFO rep who really respects Rick. Since I won my first TFO rod in a fly casting event 23 years ago I have been a fan and now own fresh, salt, and two handed rods (switch and soey) and reels, from 4 weight to 12 weight. Huge lifetime TFO fan.

I own over a dozen TFO rods for most fishing situations...Have has several warranty claims and have always been amazed at the fast turn around...great product and company!

My TFO 6’ UL rod (w/Daiwa exceler 1000) is my favorite ultra lite set up. It balances perfect and I love the hand grip style. And…oh yeah. They are on sale for 64.99 right now, both 6’ and 6’6”. I’m picking up a few more.

My Trout-Panfish spinning rod is my go to. Foolishly dropped one in the lake off my kayak last year :( Didn't have to think twice about ordering a replacement as soon as I got home. And now leash everything...lesson learned. Lol Cheers!

How did he not mention Rob Fordyce, lefty kreh, flip pallot? That's where I heard of the rods. I've owned them ever since. I use them in Tampa Bay for snook reds seatrout tarpon etc.... excellent performance. I fish four times a week consistently and have for years. I recommend them to everyone I talk to.
