I completely agree! Never give up. Aviation is a very peculiar but amazing journey. It challenges you in so many ways. I share those challenges with you. So, to encourage you, I say keep it up. Just envision the first time you do thatcross country with your family. It’s going to be awesome! Fly well, brother!

Amazing Charlie, I watched MHWC for ages then came across a recommended video where you were in the 380 simulator at BA - couldn't believe I shared a common interest and passion with someone I watched so regularly. Goes to show. I think this is a great place for "behind the scenes" to those of us who watch your other channel.
I hear ya Charlie. Got my license in 2003 - flew everything and anything until 2007. Job and life scuppered that. Been trying to revalidate my license, nice flying last year and now not flown for 5 months, last October. Aeroplane is available and I'm not. I'm available and the aeroplane isn't. Both me and the aeroplane are available but the airfield is closed to fixed wing due surface conditions. Bla bla bla. Been sat here thinking that its time to can it and go learn sea fishing, buy a boat (I live near the coast) buy an old classic to restore, or an old Norton and do the same etc etc. Thats my head, my heart says keep going - I probably only need a few hours then do my ride with an examiner and done but running out of love with it all! Kudos to you - its an inspiration so keep it up!
