i used to love tomatoes but as time went on i began taking them off burgers. something about the watery acidic sweetness with the thin skin is so off-putting. totally agree with you.
not a fan of tomatoes either, but I will say home grown versus store bought is a world of difference. when you get them at big chain supermarkets they are picked green than chemically induced to ripen when they want not naturally ripened on the vine.

I hate tomatoes. Fast food and store bought tomatoes taste so bad but like fresh cherry tomatoes and even fresh juicy tomatoes from anywhere else taste a lot better though.

When trying to make a smash burger, I would suggest using a metal turner rather than a spatula with holes because then you won't have the issue of having to get the meat out of the holes. Depending on where you buy them, they're generally pretty cheap. Other than that, it looked great!

I was at Shake Shack in Chicago for the first time and when I left I got a notification for a video of his, but didn't watch it right away because I was busy then right away when I got on the train I see the title and I'm like woah... what....
