Proverbs 26:4-5 - Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you be like him yourself. Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes. The self-confident fool thinks too highly of himself and his opinions, and he shares them freely. How should a wise person deal with him?
Yup a 48mm done right is a sleeper. Small transfers and all. :) Your beginning to get the "Colonel Miles Quaritch" ( Avatar reference ) look as you address your inner most feeling to some of these on line characters , hey.... a hint, not worth the energy. You have some fun & interesting stuff , Just do what u do when running and building your saw toys. :)
Sometimes I just gotta blow off a little steam, that's all. Everything would have been kosher had the fella not talked about all his experience and how this is what he does daily. I appreciate your support.
Controversy gets views it seems I don't care much for it but it has invaded our saw community I am starting to see it all over lately. I would be happy to see it go away but I think it's just getting started is my guess.
@treebender261 You are absolutely right Treebender. I have probably close to 800 videos. Maybe 20 of them are like this. So clearly, I don't like to do it or I would have much more of it. The ones I do have are often among my fastest growing videos. If a person were to make nothing but trash like this...their channel would skyrocket.
@@novicelumberjack Sad but true I'm afraid. :( I rather just be positive but I do have to admit once in a while a little attitude slips thru. Then I try to make the next few just positive stuff.
I got very lucky and traded for a 2165 with a custom popup and a solid port job with the lovely 48mm bore cylinder and I was a little shocked… it’s hard to find a difference between a 50 version and it… I have been holding onto two more 48’s because I am done looking for more power… I just want a balanced engine with the best fuel mileage and just enough power to pull the bar and chain combo nicely… I’m not in a race and I’d really prefer not to be waisting fuel… and 65cc is plenty for a 24-25 and the 28” with skipper is possible if it’s a hyper active 65! 😂😂😂
Not going to be able to watch this one Boedy. Sorry. I have a zero tolerance policy towards idiots, and he certainly checks that box. Ya'll have a wonderful day!
I love this shit. I get it ALL THE TIME. I just had a guy who I'm sure can't change his own spark plugs commenting that his 440 rancher is running 250 psi... no it ain't buddy... no it ain't... I believe you explained once the difference between ignorance and stupidity- the problem is we have WAY too many people anymore with both. Rock on Boedy.
Talking about measuring the cylinder squash , there are a few ways to measuring and adjusting. When you "ways" are off or worn on a lathe , you measure , then "scratch" them in.
I tend to just hide my channel from people who leave stupid coments, because I can be a real asshole towards stupid ignorant people and I don't want a community strike. 🤣
The OEM 51.4MM cylinders started off as a cutoff saw jug, then Husky developed a 51.4 chainsaw jug, produced both for a while, then eventually discontinued the cutoff saw jug and put the chainsaw jug on everything. They have smaller transfers like a 365 Special jug. The 52MM aftermarket jugs are based on a 50mm 372 jug.
Boedy the 261/262 Husqvarna cylinder doesn’t have skirts/ears either! You don’t need to justify your knowledge there will always be a person that knows everything and sometimes you just have to leave it at that and walk away!
Thank you for the great information and your correct everyone can learn something from this! Even I learned something that I'd forgotten about and is worthwhile to go reread is the MacDizzy The Enthusiast Article...there's plenty of learning there!
I agree the 48mm runs better than any big bore. I wouldn’t swap a 50mm in its place me personally!! The 365 special is one of my all time favorite saws
You have a good channel. Just do your thing and don't worry about other comments. Remember that you get information from others on youtube for your channel. Dont't forget them when you pass your information on to others. Thanks
Haha, funny video Boedy! I get a kick out of the drama! I can't stand when people ramble on their sentences and dont make any sense like that with no commas or periods. I love the channel man, keep up the good work. Don't let the idiots get to ya.
I inter jack now at 16 minutes. You're a humble man without prejudice. Thé reason I "signed" up for this channel at first. Great to see you keep doing your thing.👍🏻 Greetings from the Netherlands
Boedy is the kind of guy that I have no clue if we would be best buddies or absolutely hate each other. We are somewhat similar in admitting when wrong and constantly improving. The difference being you are handsome and a lil cocky and I am equally handsome but taller and unintentionally condescending when I talk to people. Its so hard for me (an all knowing superior being) to explain something to a person that is older than me. Either they cant accept that someone younger knows something they dont or maybe I am just an asshole. Who knows🤷🏼♀️
Hey Boedy Love this video there’s always going to be someone out there that’s going to challenge you even if they talk shit I just look at them and laugh 😂 I remember my father telling me you never stop learning even from the stupid people and don’t make their mistakes.
Wells for won, it is called push not squished or quenched. For too, alls cylinder has drop down piston wall extenders…. Alright I tried to be an idiot, just ended up pissing my self off. On a real note, if you deck down the bottom of a cylinder with sand paper and a flat surface it tends to help stay even to use a figure 8 motion. I learnt that from back in nam
You fucking rock Boedy don't let the naysayers get to ya too much! Oh by the way I'm rebuilding my 026 and guess what no cylinder skirts!! I love your shit man because you can take a joke with the best of them!!
Some do some don't and all boedy has been going through lately with his dad he just had enough and had to blow off some steam and I can say that I'm glad he did because holding things in just adds to the boiler getting ready to blow up this loss of steam will help him sleep better tonight hopefully!!
Like your style Boedy. Unfortunately there are alot of different people out there and occasionally there's a few who just don't know any better and there's nothing wrong with that.Just try to know what your talking about before you comment. One told me he hated to see a brand name cylinder ( NEW OUT OF THE BOX STIHL OEM 660 TO END) get butchered like that. Said the ports were to wide and plating will peal. Saw will not run but if it did will make no power. He knows because he's messed up a lot of his own saws. I was pleasant and explained a few things and wished him good luck in his future builds signed "THE BUTCHER". Keep up the great work!
No idea what your talking about, so it must not have been an argument with me. Nothing wrong with telling me when I'm wrong, but when I'm not wrong and a person acts superior...that obviously gets to me.
@@novicelumberjack Amen to that and yes we did I told you to put a sharp chain on your saw because you were shooting sawdust instead of chips and you told me it was sharp an so on.......
Ill give ya a few more cylinders without the skirt. Stihl! My domar 9000 also didnt have one either. Some of these people are just trolls. What made me appreciate your channel was that wild thing. You spanked on guys with a whole lot more resources than you have. Not to mention you blind ported it!!!! Anyways let um know! “ Your an idiot!” Price less!
Dam boedy I've never heard it called CLINCH, every chainsaw builder i know of calls it squish hell even your nemesis IH calls it squish! Lmfao 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 this dude must be a basement dweller hollering for mom to bring him a hotpocket because he's arguing with boedy again!! Lmfao 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
If you can turn a wrench and make simple repairs then i wouldnt be afraid of them. They are not OEM quality but they seem to hold up fine for the majority of folks. Just dont be surprised if you get one that has a few issues to straighten out.
*** Thanks *** you taught this old man something not chainsaw related. I never use, and therefor never considered, Talk to Text problems. I just thought some folk really were total idiots, or attempting to use English as a second language.
