Good work shows how much you can really get done in a day. You’ve inspired me to get to work. Not a writing tip, but have you ever tried matcha? It has less caffeine, keeps you up for longer, and can help you get into the flow state a bit easier, makes you feel zen, which could help, especially when feeling drained after a long session.

I’m glad this has been motivating for you too! I’m also surprised just how much I could get done in a day, maybe it’s the structure? I wonder how this could be applied to everyday work? When I was cleaning out the garage I found a number of journals that had been in boxes for 20 years. They brought back memories I didn't realize I had. It was cathartic but it also made me realize how much I've stayed the same since my 20's. It's funny. Even though I'm older I've never stopped thinking of myself as a 20 something man. I'm married and my kids are all grown but that sense of just being a guy with more responsibilities hasn't changed. Seeing entries in my own print reaffirmed that sense of being the same person. I would say it's worth it for that reason alone: to realize later that you haven't changed after decades have passed.
