While I love seeing sneaker RU-vid blow up over the years, I truly appreciate the OGs of the game like Marv. The attention to detail in these reviews is what made me want to collect kicks in the first place - can’t let it become a lost art. Salute and respect to you, keep pushing the knowledge forward.
Couldn’t agree with u more, these OGs pay close attention to detail and the entire picture. Their info is accurate, they lived the original game before the hype n resellers even existed. Back when the love of the sneaker was pure. I’m 33 so I got into shoes as a kid early before the internet took over n started to kill the game
Mar 3 2001 these originally came out. I was in 11th grade and had an SAT prep class to go to on a Saturday but I knew these were coming out. My mom and my stepdad came with me because back then where my mom lived in the Bronx you could get robbed for your kicks. But anyway I had these bad boys and they were dope back then. I also remember these because my friend Matthew passed away the same day and I wore them to his funeral like a week or so later. Welcome back Marv, like you, the sneakers tell a story and it brings you back to a time that you will never forget.

I’ve worn my concord, bred, and legend blue low 11s a lot and they do crease up and bubble a bit on the patent leather. If you the correct sizing or a half size small they crease less.

I've also wanted more the columbias instead of the cool greys, but cannot be mad because they turned out very good. Hope we get them on 2022. About the insole sticker for EU shoes, it's a mandate sticker for all footwear and shows the materials used for each part. For the sticker that you showed means the following: Leather exterior, Textile interior and insole and other materials for the out sole. I'll be waiting for that comparison between the 2001, 2010 and 2021 versions. One last thing, I don't know if it's my imagination or something, but I feel that the cool greys have a softer midsole than the 2019 breds.
I Like The 2001 Version Even The Grey Color On The Patent Leather Aged Since Years But They Did The 2021 Pair Pretty Good Not A Fan Of Blue Soles But I Like It So Far MJ Worn Em In The Wizard Uniform Before He Worn XVII’s He Also Worn Cool Grey IX & True Blue III Even Ginger XVI....I Glad That You Back On Tube Again
