I like MilesPerHr as well, I like those no-bs car review types of channels that show off the features and functions of actually owning the car instead of sitting around nerding out over some inconsequential numbers that even the owners usually don't care about
Being 6ft is not a flex as u will always be lanky, small and not muscular. It's why the average height of a Mr Olympia bodybuilder winner is 5 foot 7 as u will always be bigger, more muscular and jacked than guys over 6'+
@@fragilrtoothpickleggedwhit1866 You're tweaking bro. Look at Arnold and Lou Ferrigno compared to Franco Columbu, yes being shorter helps give the illusion that you're bigger with less muscle BUT in terms of overall strength and proportions, being short has it's limits. A 5'7 person's peak strength is not even close to a 6'3 person's peak strength. Which is why you see most world class strongmen over 6'0. I'm 5'5 myself dude, you gotta be realistic.
I got a 14 year old v6 accord for 5k with 150k on the odom. I pit 25k on it in 2 years, sold it for what i paid. Not including how i replaced light bulbs, the cruise button, and the serpintine belt and pulleys myself. Your welcome next owner my pleasure. Hopefully he does the same thing. Fix up a this a that for cheap, put 25k on it and sell it for what he bought it for. I mean its fully depriciated so theres little to lose lots to gain amirite. And it was mostly roadtrip miles. I went to texas several times and even lent it to my family when thet went to california to save on gas. I sell it for what i paid so it was nearly free
Picked up the Hybrid EX-L.. very comfortable, tech is great and the gas mileage is amazing.. im at 53.6 mpg over 600 miles per fill-up. Best practical car purchase i made in a long time.
@@bdailey8065cvt is really good with a hybrid, and honda makes the best cvts in the industry up there with toyotas. they better add a sport trim though, with a real combustion engine, and at the bare minimum the 10 speed auto but preferably a manual
these new accords typically go for around 25-30 grand. extremely comfortable cabin space and ride quality, and a decent bit of fun factor with that turbocharger makes this a great car. reliability remains to be seen but through my 3 accords i have never had a single major issue.
And here i am with my v6 manual accord sedan. Sad to see that the day of the fun accord is truly gone now. The 2.0t 6 speed is probably the last truly fun honda accord ever, at least in the sedan configuration.
My google home got activated by this video and proceeded to say "what do you call a caveman fart... A blast from the past" and proceeded to make the most unholy fart sounds.
It's because there would literally be no reason to own an Acura if they kept it. There's still really hardly a reason to own one. Imagine if they added AWD to the accord. Acura would be over.
@@zachsmcl ... friendly reminder that this is a commuter car, designed for efficiency and reliability - if you need performance you are not the target market
I'm so glad they have the heads up display. Probably the best feature I feel like I almost never see in cars. You never have to take your eyes off the road to check your speed.
@@akwl0l812 It doesn’t, but you do it, consciously and unconsciously, A LOT when driving. Driving 3 years with a car with a HUD and going back to a gage cluster was annoying. Yeah, I got used to it again, but it’s a small thing that is easy to implement and only benefits the driver.
He's also not 6' tall. He said in another video that he's "about 6' tall". I guess he decided to change that to, "I AM 6'0" tall"! Hahaha, he's probably 5'10"!
The sun roof is now called the moon roof, two years down the road, it’ll be called the galaxy roof, or star roof or nebula roof 😢... and the cars will be 3D printed from plastic and can be folded into a table for virtual picnic on your iPads. 😢
I don't understand how you've never heard of a Moonroof before. They've been around for decades. There is a difference between the two but everyone just calls it a Sunroof. But he's right though.
Lol! You could only see through a sun roof when they were open, typically metal the same color as the car. Moonroofs are glass and you could see through when both open and closed.
Not only would a car never be made out of plastic from a safety standpoint, but with the progressive views of moving towards less pollutants, plastic is closer to being phased out than having all cars be made out of it.
They are good but sometimes you need a real look at the car if your going to spend all the money on it , might as well be happy with what you buy the first time
Ngl when I first saw your reviews I didn’t like you but the hustle, the quality, the personality… it’s infectious man. I can’t not watch your stuff now. Love n Respect hermano!
it's really cool how we're starting to see features that used to be considered ultra lux on cars that anyone can buy! Heads up displays still seem straight out of the future.
I own a 22 2.0T and love driving it every day. The engine is a lot of fun, but as mostly a city driver, the hybrid may be would have been the better option. After clocking in 2K miles of mostly city, I am averaging 20 mpg. I do still think it's a shame they won't be including the 2.0T 10AT with this gen though
Nah , I'm 6'1 and if I can fit a fist between my knee and the back of the seat, that's plenty space. Try having 4 dudes all over 6 foot trying to fit in a Golf. That's a tight fit
@@MilkT0ast It's not the legroom that's the problem. The accord has the most in its class. It's the headroom. That sloping back roof that imitates a sport back is the issue. They should just make the accord an actual sport back if they are going to fall short in headroom. At least there'll be a legit reason at that point.
@@marylinehappy8504 depending on the trim level, the 2.0 has a better transmission and more powerful engine than the base 1.5 engine. They’re surprisingly quick being able to keep up with car with more horsepower & the tech is pretty good with a stiff and precise steering which makes it way more comfortable for handing unlike a newer Civic which has a very light steering
Love to see how you e progressed man. But seriously, we need the hair care routine. You doing a review of the products you do like these cars would be dope 😂
