I hear so much about it not having any power. How do you feel about it? I'm currently car browsing and this may be one of the best looking cars out there right now
Buick just pulled the biggest troll I feel like of the century. Urus front end, X6/GLE boxy rear end w cohesive sleek visually appealing design undeniably for 25-27k. 😂 wow. Oh but not to mention the equally cohesive interior with the random “ST” badging and 137 horsepower lmao. yet something about it makes me just so not mad at it.
I ordered one and it already got built! Looking forward to seeing it in real life (shipping will likely take a few weeks)! We got black in the ST. Thanks for posting!
Definitely will be checking out the ST trim level. The more sport-like styling is right up my alley personally. Hopefully these are built well and do well on the market.
I’m coming from a 06 Silverado with no a/c / heating, door sags a bit. Tailgate sometimes would fall down driving. Broken driver door handle ( so I have to go through the passenger) and now my instrument cluster don’t work. So everything they offer in this price is just what I need 😂 love the styling and the price
This car has so much modding potential, especially if someone makes a Urus body kit, and yes, AWD would’ve been lovely but they should’ve at least made a RWD and higher HP engine
You’re not alone. Buick did it to protect the Encore (and probably keep costs and complexity down), but a LOT of people have been commenting that they want awd.
Definitely could’ve just been an option. People can decline awd on every car that offers or if they want to keep the cost down. Either way, beautiful car for the money.
Just bought the gray ST. I received MANY compliments. I was very skeptical, but nothing but impressed after putting on the interstate in heavy traffic. 6-month update: I will confirm reviews the gas mileage could be better for the engine and body size. Everything else is still great.
The gray ST also looks SUPER SHARP. I’m not a big fan of silver or gray cars, but the ST does pop in that color and I would totally buy it. My wife has the Lexus Ux F-Sport in Silver and the ST in gray looks like it’s twinning with the Lexus … lol. Good luck with the car and enjoy!!!
The white with black accents of the ST is super sharp. I do really like that one a lot. My personal fave that makes the biggest statement in my mind is the Sunrise Red with the black ST accents and wheels. You look in any parking lot and you will be hard pressed to find a color or car looking that bold. I also like the Cinnabar Red in the ST but I haven’t seen that in person yet. The black on black looks really sharp too. End of day the Sunrise Red is the winner for me.
Saw this car at my local grocery store parking lot and i had to stop and look, it hasn't happened with another car in a while. Surprisingly great looking car, I'm not normally used to American manufacturers making aesthetivally pleasing cars.
I purchased the Envista preferred and I absolutely love everything about the car and as a plus-I get compliments too or asked if it’s electric that I’m driving. Cool looking 2500 miles onwards and 1 month of ownership.
Was considering buying it, but I would totally miss my blind spot cameras on my 2022 Hyundai Sonata! Buick, I would be very interested in buying this one if you could add that blind spot (oh yeah and the park assist) to this good looking crossover! 😉 😉
The sport version definitely white and black. The avenir versión, I prefer silver one. Beautiful on the outside, very old-fashioned on the inside. The interiors do not do justice to its new sporty design, it seems like you are inside a 2015 Chevrolet somewhere
Shocking but Buick did well on this car. I saw on eat the dealer when I was buying my Honda and it was nice looking. They should have done an awd option to differentiate from the Trax.
I agree. The lack of AWD is more to protect the Encore than anything... which is stupid because the Envista is a much better all around vehicle than the Buick Encore.
@@jax1079 We had a Buick Encore GX…. We unfortunately hated it, the lack of the vents really makes a difference for our family. We live in Michigan so cold weather makes it difficult for my son to sit in the back. This is the same with the Chevy Trax the re design is very nice… just lack of certain elements that in 2024 you think vehicles would have…. (Vents and Charging ports) cheap…. Specially vents… cannot imagine a plastic tube going into the back would kill a profit 🤷🏻♂️
@@dronedadadventure8539 Totally makes sense, and it's a shame that will be a deal breaker for some (as is the lack of awd). The Kona would be out next pick up the price ladder where you'll pay a little more but get a little more. The new Hyundai Kona is VERY easy to live with and well equipped with awd.
@@djshag69 Hard to say. I’d look at common problems in the Chevy Trailblazer to see if there are any major warning signs since it’s basically the same powertrain.
Understandable, but from a power standpoint it’s fine. Got the Chevy Trax in the driveway this week, and it’s no track star but it’s not slow. They’ve tuned the engine/transmission relationship well.
@@jax1079 Good to know, i mean obviously no one who gets this plans on drag racing, but considering there are (much more expensive) other vehicles in this CUV category pushing well over 200hp (hornet/Q3/etc) it would be nice to see something with a little more oomf because this car really is gorgeous
@jax1079 You actually believe this model will be any better than the rest of the garbage they build. The last reliable engine GM built was the 3800 series V6 that was put in many GM models. Take a look into the pattern of repairs over the last 8 years for GM midsized sun's or any models. If you think this Buick will be any different, you and all the people that buy one will be sadly disappointed.
@@car-diologist I don't disagree that there have been some duds (I actually had a 96 Firebird with the 3800 V6... when people say it was "reliable," they generally mean free from catastrophic failure. Mine had plenty of stupid small problems all at less than 100k miles.) I'm just reserving judgement until there is some data. That powertrain in the Trailblazer hasn't been a poor performer.
@@cyrusthegreat3081I drove both and the cx 30 definitely had a nice drive if you upgrade the engine but the interior space was a deal breaker I ended up getting the Envista Avenir trim and I love it. It definitely drives great as well.
